Me too the veg tanned is my favourite and with the styles of the bags I feel they need to be stiff and structured. I'd be disappointed if they became soft and deflated over time.

Hi everyone! I'm getting a vegetable tanned black/gold large bucket bag but was wondering about wear and tear. I've read that this leather scratches easily. Is that true? I can't seem to find a proper wear and tear review or photos anywhere online. Any opinions would really help. Thank you!

This thread is pure gold! I've discovered MG recently and I've fallen in love with them. I love their simple design. I have questions about the tumble leather, is it supple? How does it compare with other leathers like Bottega Veneta's goatskin? I'm not really a fan of vegetable tanned leather as it's really too stiff for me.

I just got my tumbled leather mini bucket and, yes, the leather is supple. It's smooshy and is a good thickness, I think. I don't have experience with BV, so I can't really compare it with that. The only pebbled leather bags I have are my Cuyana long tote and my Balenciaga Metallic Edge, and I would say it's closer in texture to the Cuyana, although the Cuyana is probably slouchier.

Hi everyone! I am in the market for a mini bucket, and I'm trying to make the right leather choice. I definitely want a structured bucket, so ruling out suede and tumbled even though they look gorgeous! I adore the veg tanned leather of my black/flamma tote, so I'm thinking that's probably the way to go (probably in black/ballerina or brandy/avion) but I'm also considering the calf (Moss is such a beautiful color!). I heard rumors that the quality of the calf leather has gone down, is that true? I'm only interested in the calf if the quality is equal to our better than the veg tanned, with the benefit of less scratching. Let me know what your experiences have been! Thanks!

I have the veg tanned leather Mini Bucket in black/blu. I've only had it for a month but I carry it with me everywhere at least 6 days a week and the bag still looks as brand new. I commute to work by walking and bus so the bag is exposed to the outdoors and lots of bouncing up and down as I walk with it. The structure of the leather hasn't changed at all, the only change in the leather is that it's slightly polished in places where the bag rubs against my coat. It's such a beautiful looking bag and I'm loving mine!

Hi everyone, do any of you have an actual photo of the saffiano or tumbled moss bucket bag? Ive been contemplating in getting one. Either saffiano or tumbled. But i dont know if it’s too dark that it’ll end up looking like black which i dont want. Thanks!

It's raw interior (so suede like) in the same colour as the outside of the bag. I'll take a pic of my tumble mini bucket for you when I'm home.

Btw I love how it looks and feels so differently from veg-tanned but you really have to be patient with the smell!
how is the wear and tear of the raw interior? Can you recommend it?
