I wanted to purchase a Black Mini Bucket but couldn't decide on interior, help please. Would appreciate if anyone has side by side comparison photo of (1) Flamma interior and (2) Ballerina interior.

I am more of a pink person but the Ballerina interior appears to be more nude in the photos, am I right? And the Flamma contrast with Black is striking!! How do I decide?!?!?

I am in Sydney too. I found stockists overseas, regardless of shipping and exchange rate, to be cheaper than any stores here.
Especially net a porter who carry both those colour combinations and have free shipping and free returns if there's a problem. I wouldn't buy direct from MG due to their shipping though but heaps of stockists have free shipping.

Oh good. I'm new to MG, I'm after the Mini Bucket and I think I prefer the Black/Ballerina at this stage. Is AUD715 a good price or is it pretty standard or expensive?

I've been looking at NAP but you can hardly find the Mini, I have seen the Regular pop up a few times only since May.15.

Is that from an Australian stockist? If so that's an ok price. I paid less overseas and just paid AUD$740 for a Rosa calf mini. But if it's an Australian stockist that that sounds ok.

What is a reasonable price in AUD from overseas including postage for a Mini Black/Ballerina? I just want a bench mark. Thanks Jamie!

AUD740 for a Mini Rosa sounds very attractive. I have a soft spot for pink but I am only worried about maintenance such as colour transfer. May I ask where you found this deal?

I got it from forward by elyse walker using their app and in app code. It arrived today, it's lovely. I've had no colour transfer so far with my regular sand bucket and sent back a regular rosa bucket because I worried about maintenance. Decided I'd like it smaller as I found regular to be too much pink but given there's been no issue with sand I am pretty confident rosa will be similar.

I personally wouldn't pay more than about $700 give or take a little for a mini veg tanned. But others are willing to pay a lot more. Would have paid up to maybe $800 for calf but got lucky with forward.

All personal choice really I've seen some people pay high amounts to secure a combo they really want where as I will pass it up regardless of colour if the price is too high. Depends how much you want it I guess.

I got MG Mini bucket bag in Black/Flamma and want to get another one in Rosa/Rosa.
After reading this thread that Saffiano will withstand scratches and stay more structured overtime, Im not sure should I get mini bucket in calf leather or saffiano Rosa/Rosa >_<

The calf leather is definitely more durable than the veg tanned leather but I could still see it getting a scuff or two if you aren't careful. I have yet to run my nails against calf leather and probably never will.. (when I was newbie, I did it against the veg tanned leather.. i regretted that... :storm:)

The saffiano is indestructible. I have a saffiano mansur gav. bag and I think I'd really have to chuck the bag again concrete to get a scratch on there (not joking, also not suggesting anyone should test this out :laugh:).

So in the end, it really depends on what you're looking for. :graucho:

Yea my vegetable tanned Black/Flamma already for nails mark from trying to tie the knot... Gotta be extra careful now.

I love the smooth calf leather but thinking since rosa is very light color. Saffiano leather might even a better choice for the long run.
Is your saffiano rosa as well? Do they get color transfer?

Trying to find more info about saffiano rosa but couldn't find much ><

I don't have much experience with color transfer since I tend to buy darker colored bags.
But perhaps you could look in the Prada thread (regarding color transfer) or if anyone else can comment.

My impression is there's always a possibility for color transfer for lighter colored bags...
