Colour transfer is a possibility but I have a mini rosa in calf and regular sand in calf and have had no colour transfer issues so far.
I use them both quite often, Rosa probably more.
So far I've had no scuffs, scratches or colour transfer.

May I ask you a bit more on the structure of your Rosa. How long have you had it for and does it start loosing shape fast?

Have you ever wear jeans with Rosa?

I pretty much live in jeans so yes I've worn jeans with both. I've had it for a bit over a month. Had the sand one a few months longer. Structure on both have stayed the same so far.

This is so useful, thanks jaime!! I am using a black\flamma bucket in saffiano leather on a daily basis and I don't really worry about anything on the saffiano leather. I want to get a mini bucket in rosa and your experience just cleared out my concerns on color transfer (more or less) and confirmed my target!

Having a tumble and vegetable bucket, I actually prefer the latter. It holds its shape while the tumble just well.. tumbles.
Aesthetically, I would opt for either vegetable tanned or coated over tumble. It all depends on how much you're willing to shell out. As for care, maybe MG can give us some pointers.

I just broke out my new brandy bucket and did a comparison with my very active tote to see the patina. it did darken but nothing like the way cammello does.

I have the tumbled leather large bucket and I love the the feel and slouchiness of the leather. I carry it cross body and the veg tanned just stuck out oddly on me that way. It did have a strong leather smell at first, which I didn't mind, but it has faded with time.
I like the veg tanned on the tote since I like the more structured look on the totes plus the contrast interior is what drew me to the line initially
The ladybag thread has me coveting one of those next. I would probably use it for the cross body option so would prefer a slouchier leather, it seems like the calf coated might be a bit less structured so might go for that at the next restock!

Also love the Ladybag in the SAFFIANO leather. It's limited edition through BARNEYS and sometimes found on Ebay--so worth it!!!

This thread is pure gold! I've discovered MG recently and I've fallen in love with them. I love their simple design. I have questions about the tumble leather, is it supple? How does it compare with other leathers like Bottega Veneta's goatskin? I'm not really a fan of vegetable tanned leather as it's really too stiff for me.

I love the vegetable tanned leather. I like the way the color gets richer with age, and the leather developes a personality of its own. I also love the structure.
