Maybe have a look at some others at the store to see if yours is all that different

Not sure about the MG website - others might know. I just bought once and haven't looked again!

Do you think it's worth the price? There were actually 3 in store and the other 2 have visible scratches so I just took this. So I don't know if it's just normal for a brand new bag. Actually what I've decided is to just get the one with leather imperfection in front rather than the others with visible scratches but the other one has scratches at the back and top part near the drawstring which I don't know if it's a much better choice. Now I'm thinking twice if I made the right choice. Or would I just return this and wait for a new shipment which I don't know when it would come and if it would come in the color combo I want.

I bought a couple so, yep, they were worth it for me. They are the least expensive bags in my wardrobe and I've found them to be durable, so I think they're good value. They have a unique look as well, which is why I went for them.

I personally wouldn't see those scratches as issues - I expect them with leather. I think you have to be realistic about what you expect - leather will naturally show scars, fat wrinkles, growth lines, etc. It is a natural product after all.

Most of my bags are Givenchy, Mulberry and Balenciaga - even new, they all have those variations. Also, I find after a couple of uses, I've done far worse to my bags anyway! I've found that the MG bags do show marks from wear very easily - it's just the nature of the finish on them.

If you want a bag that keeps a flawless look longer, you might want to consider saffiano. It wears incredibly well and has a more consistent finish. The other way to go is to get an intentionally distressed bag (like a Balenciaga), so these things seem more like 'character' than flaws.

I also thought about the saffiano, but this color combo is not available. I think there are only 2 color combo available for black. Thank so much for your help..

Hello!

I'm about to purchase a Mini Bucket Bag and have it shipped to me in the Philippines. My courier will be charging me by volumetric weight, but I can't seem to get any proper dimensions from the seller.

Do you think anyone could help me out? I need the length / width / height of the box. The weight would help, too!

I had been looking at the lady bag but something had been holding me back. Maybe it’s the easily scratched leather that I always read about.

But once I saw it in canvas x leather version, I’m totally sold. It has worked it’s way up to the top of my favourite work bag. It’s light weight, pretty, and most importantly, it does fit A4 size document.

I never loop the drawstring through the loops on the flap and on the body of the bag. And I never had any problem of my things falling out even if I filled it to the brim. Loved it to bits.

And did I mention how pretty it is? I’m totally in love

No it definitely wouldn't. It fits the absolute bare minimum. Wallet (maybe depending on size), phone and keys. That's about it. The measurements should be on the site, compare it to your kindle.

Thanks, I check and see the measurements of the mini mini are
  • Height 20cm, width 15cm, depth 10cm
A kindle is quite compact at roughly 17cm x 12 cm. It appears it could fit upright (although the drawstring may not close fully) or even sideways angled a bit in the bag - I calculated the diagonal 'corner to corner' of the bag of 18 cm which is enough to clear the 17 cm of the kindle.

I was hoping if anyone could provide a visual? Any kindle + mini mini owners?

I usually only have a small card holder + keys + phone and sometimes a lip product or a blush. The Kindle is not carried every day however I have added ability to carry a kindle as a requirement on my bag purchases.

I have a kindle but don't have any buckets anymore and mine definitely wouldn't have fit in the mini mini. I had a mini mini for a short time and I loved the idea of it but found it impractical. Mini would be a better option IMO.
