I prefer the regular for every day but the mini is definitely big enough for essentials. I haven't used the mini much at all compared to the regular but I still love my mini. I haven't used either in a while and I really should. It's my favourite MG style.

Hi! I hope this is the right thread to post in. I'm looking to buy a large tote for work, and since I'm just out of school, I was looking into buying a used one. What is a good price for one? I saw one online $400, but I'm not sure if that is high considering the new ones sell for $585. Thanks!

MG doesn't sell for as much as they used to second hand. I would prefer new myself but especially at that price. With the way the prices have gone, and almost having to give mine away myself, I'd not pay any more than half or less than new.

Thanks so much for your reply. I saw two on eBay that I was interested in since I have a gift card I wanted to use, but I'm not sure which would be the better option weighing the difference in price with the difference in condition. Hi!

I'm looking to purchase my first MG bag and I found a great deal on a tote in poshmark:

The only thing that concerns me is that there is no apparent stamp on the outside of the tote. There are pictures of the wallet that is included and there is a stamp on it, but when I asked the seller to post a photo of the stamp on the bag itself he said there is none as he purchased the bag 2011-2012. He also does not have any other verification that it is authentic, nor does he have a dust jacket or box for the bag.

I just want to verify if that's true; did the stamps on the bags not start until a certain year?

IMG_0493.JPG Just a little update, finally bit the bullet and got the Lady bag in Blu and I love it. I am very pleased with the size (about the same as my Chanel Maxi but so much lighter). I was so worried it would be too big and finding a mini in the Blu calf has been impossible in Canada. Thanks for all the help, especially Kishlette and Jaime.

Hi Sofakimou,
I've been looking for a sleek leather backpack and I think the MG one in black vegetable tanned leather might be the one.
But I was wondering whether it softens naturally or creases awkwardly at all?
How have you found your MG backpack?
(Sorry if this is a silly question as I'm not familiar with vegetable tanned leather bags)

I am interested in hearing what people think of the Metropolitan and Pasternak bags. They look beautiful, and are quite tempting. I have not purchased one yet as I've always been a shoulder carry kind of girl. Has anyone seen the bags in real life, and has anyone purchased them? I've been reading this forum regularly, hoping to find out expert opinions! Thank you.
