Hi all! So glad I found this thread! I'm considering getting a mini lady myself and was wondering if it would be able to hold a 12inch macbook? It's the smallest of all macbooks, very thin and measures 28cm x 20cm. I'm also considering the medium lady bag, but I'm afraid it'll look to big on me as I'm just under 5ft with a petite frame and many bags look too big on me :(

I have both the mini lady and that laptop. It should fit but I would check the dimensions of both so you can get an idea of how much room would be left in the bag. The lady bag is great but imo not the best for work because you can't get your laptop and other things out of the bag easily or quickly without totally undoing the threaded clasp. It also will not fit over your shoulder -only as a top handle/ elbow bag and then the crossbody strap. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Hey girl! Ok so here in the photos you will see that it will fit but just barely. It would be a bit of a squeeze to the point where you would not be able to really synch the bag as it's intended to be. I would therefore recommend the larger size if you are looking to fit the MacBook :) also I highly recommend the MG standard backpack in the black veg tanned leather. First off because it's gorgeous and very durable. Second because it seriously looks smaller than it is so it's great for petite figures. Looks very compact but fits a lot of stuff. I understand what you mean about not wanting to be overwhelmed by your bag lol.

Does anyone have any intel on when the Moss Lady will be back in stock? If at all? If it's not coming back I was thinking of getting the Moss in tumbled leather but the color just isn't as rich.

Does anyone else have issues with their bags making noises as they walk? I've had the mini bucket bag for almost a year -- I thought maybe the leather would start to soften over time (and make less noise) but hasn't happened for me yet.

I just bought a MG bucket bag yesterday... do you think this is just fine to keep? Is this not a defective bag? The long hairline cut like looking but not deep is in front.

I would personally take that to be normal variation in the leather, being a natural product... Maybe contact customer service where you bought it from and see what they say? They might exchange for you

I actually missed the white threads - you mean the stitching? It's hard to see on the photos, sorry.

At the end of the day, whether I think it's fine or not, you've got to be happy with it... If these things are bothering you, take it back and ask for an exchange - most retailers are pretty accommodating, I've found.

Does your bag came almost like this brand new? That's actually my concern.. coz no one wants a flawed bag right? Is it still hard to get nowadays online? I actually haven't tried it.

I bought two new online from the MG website and one second-hand on Tradesy. On the new ones, the leather did have some 'flaws' on each - things like variation from fat lines - but not noticeable/significant enough to worry me.

Where did you get yours?

From holt renfrew... so I could still return if this is a flawed bag. But if not I'd keep it. I don't know if I could get the color I want next time. I don't know if they would restock a lot.. does MG restock more often now?
