hi there! does anyone know if the mansur gavriel site allows international customers ship to a US address while using a non-US credit card? (I live in Canada and have experienced this problem before... but really want to avoid having to pay duties!) Also - anybody know what shipping costs would be like on the MG site? thanks!
I have been wearing the backpack and now that it is warmer out (and I am not wearing a coat) I have noticed some black marks near my underarms where the straps rest. Kind of like the color of the bag is rubbing off on my shirts. This has happened two days in a row -has anyone else experienced this with their backpack or bucket bag? I am not sure how to prevent it :-/
I got mine on Steven Alan, using a brazilian creditcard and shipping to an US address and had no problem. Plus the shipping was free. Keep an eye on the Steven Alan website cause they're always restoching!
to avoid any disappointment on the launch date and to be extremely/over prepared for this event, please be sure to contact MG's customer service via email (no phones unfortunately) to clarify all of these points... you gotta be prepared!!

Just curious, how did you guys choose the style you want?
I'm so torn cuz I debating between Camella/Rosa Large, Black/Flamma Large, and mini black/flamma. I think it's even harder to decide since I have to go off pictures and I can't try it on and see it in real life. And in an ideal world I would get prolly get the large camella and mini but realistically I don't know that I can justify having 2 bucket bags.

Actually it's better to have more than 1 size (we're in MG forum, btw. Lots of enablers here *wink*). I personally started off with the mini, but then I felt that sometimes I wished there's a bit more space for my scarf or whatever. I don't like stuffing my bag too much and so I bought the regular size. I love both sizes equally. It really depends on how much you want to carry on that day. To me, that justifies having both sizes
I am no help. I have many buckets and still feel like there are a couple of colors I need.

That's definitely horrible quality control and NOT what you'd expect when you get a saffiano bag. I hope Barneys will remedy this for you somehow and get you another bag!! I preordered a saffiano from Barneys too that was delivered today. Now I'm kind of scared to go home and open the box...
