Thanks everyone for all the replies. My bag can only be returned for a credit and since we are on different coasts that isn't an alternative for me. It isn't my cup of tea either.

Izzy - this is my mini with everything inside - it stands up just fine - but it's pretty full.

I get that, but nowhere on MG's own site do they ever refer to anything but the colored calf bags as coated, right?

Just looked and the do say coated on some of their veg tanned. They're a mess.

Does anyone know why the bags are more expensive on other sites than on MG's own? For instance the black bucket is $595 on Bergdorf, but the same one is $495 on their site. I hope they aren't raising prices for their next restock. I was planning on waiting until then to get one.

I would not go by anything on the BG site. They have so many mistakes in their listings, it's crazy.

Yay! Confirmation from BG that the medium green mini bucket is in fact the new calf coated moss green. Love the color just wondering if I would rather have a crossbody instead of another bucket. I suppose I could always sell this one to find the crossbody?

I love the peony color. I am hoping to get the lady bag in that color. I have the rosa bucket and tote right now but haven't used them yet.

I like the peony pink too! Actually I am debating for my next bucket, should I get peony pink or cammello.
