the dolly was my first thought/choice but i've only seen it on the MG website! i've stalked everywhere but no one else seems to have it

Yay! My brandy/avion bucket is here. First thought is that the color is gorgeous. Second is that I'd forgotten how stiff the ties are before being broken in. Third is that wow, the brandy shows way more in the way of scratches, etc. than the black. Just handling it I felt like my fingernails kept nicking the leather and that I'm just going to have to relax and let the aging/patina process work its magic without getting too stressed. Just conditioned the bag and waiting for it to dry before starting to use it, but here's a pic of how it arrived

This was the very first color combo I saw and thought.. OOOOOO!!! I would just LOVE a bag with Dolly on the outside. hehe.

Did you speak to anyone specific to confirm the color or have any contact info to pass along? I preordered the mysterious "medium green" hoping it's the calf coated moss green new for fall, and I'm waiting to hear back on what exactly I ordered. But seriously, the BG descriptions are totally out of whack - they seem to use coated, matte leather, and vegetable tanned interchangeably and all within the same item description? They have pics of the veg tanned bags that they've labeled coated??? Am I wrong in understanding that there is vegetable tanned and calf coated but no coated vegetable tanned, right? The colored interiors on the tanned ones are matte patent according to MG, not coated. And it doesn't help that the regular BG sales people just know whatever the online listing says, which I can read myself. Anyway, fingers crossed this is a calf coated moss green, or at least that someone can figure it out before the bag ships.
I've asked them through the online chat and they asked their merchandise department to confirm the colour name. I've received an email from them 4 days after.
Since there are no other green bags has been released previously, I'm pretty sure it would be the moss green. Just ask them to confirm the colour for you

CONGRATS! I have the exact same combo but in the mini size. I love it so much
Does anyone know why the bags are more expensive on other sites than on MG's own? For instance the black bucket is $595 on Bergdorf, but the same one is $495 on their site. I hope they aren't raising prices for their next restock. I was planning on waiting until then to get one.
