Hi everyone. I am new to MG. One of my fellow tpf'er friends made me aware of the brand and how cute the bucket bags are. I love all the pics and info in this thread. I tried a regular size bucket but it looked too large on me so I was able to get my hands on a mini mini. I am a little under 5' tall. I hadn't seen too many pics of the mini mini so here is mine. It looks very normal size on a very short person :p. I have not had an opportunity to try a mini size but I do like this mini mini.

It's perfect on you! I imagine it would look minuscule on me!

Wow, love it. I havent seen the mini mini online much. Hope to score one soon. Enjoy this lovely bag!!

Bisbee,
The bag is beautiful and I'm debating between the regular or the mini size in the tumbled leather as I'm very petite (5'2") Do you mind posting some mod photos for reference?

Thanks

Hey! I tried to upload a photo of me wearing mine to here but I don't think it worked... But I am 5'2 and have a regular size bucket In black flamma and I love it! You can check my Instagram @louriel :)

Sigh. Just received my replacement bag from NAP and while I told myself not to get overly excited because of the flaw (the long, thick crease) in my previous bag from them, I am still really disappointed by this new bag. the picture shows the comparison side-by-side. The latest delivery is on the right. The difference is really striking between the two. The leather in the right is very very "grainy", doesn't appear smooth at all. I'll be returning both. No luck with the bags :(

That happened to me once with them. I got an exchange thinking surely the next one can't be as bad as this one.... It was worse.

I just sent back the recent one I got and they send me pics of my replacement with five, yes FIVE, circled flaws in what I'd get as a replacement. I have changed it to a refund. Very disappointed in the quality of their "new" stock.

Oh crap. At least there's someone here that feels my frustration! Is this the first MG bag that you're trying to purchase?

I couldn't believe my eyes :/ this replacement made my previous delivery seem perfect haha and I had asked them whether it was a returns item and they assured me that it has not been previously purchased. should have asked them to send me pictures of the replacement before sending it over bc it is quite inconvenient for me to return the bags.

I think I won't try to purchase from NAP any more. I will camp for the MG launch and hopefully I've better luck there! understand that the sales on MG's website is final sales and no returns - does this apply for items that are defective?

Also, my helper threw away the brown DHL carton. Has anyone return items by sealing up the black NAP box? Or is that too risky?

No its not. I went through about 4 different black flamma buckets before I ended keeping one that wasn't perfect for a discount (which I had received the exact same defective bag a few times over a few months) I also got a camello tote off them which was obviously a return as it had scratches. Was going to keep it then changed my mind. Then there was a canvas bag which I was happy with but then found a fault inside it. I sent it back and ordered another with this drop only to get that same canvas bag back with the inside fault so obviously it had been doing the rounds and was back to me. That's when I organised a replacement and told them why so they sent me pics of the replacement with defects circled. I said I'll get a refund and they put the defective one held for me back up for sale, it has since sold to some unsuspecting person.

My black flamma is now perfect as I ended up selling the defective one and getting another recently which couldn't be more perfect.

So after having a few I have ended up witb just one in the end. I have a camello azzuro on preorder though and a camello Rosa tote both with different stores so hopefully their stock is better.

Re the packaging I wouldn't send it back like that myself. Id probably get a cardboard box that fit the bag even if it didn't fit the black one and send it in that with the tissue paper.

Wow! What a roller coaster ride you had with the bags! I think I would be ok if the bag had some scratches (both had scratches) but for the leather to be patchy / grainy, that's quite unacceptable. The lady at NAP refused to promise me a full refund after I sent her the picture of the latest bag. She said to send it back for them to assess :/ told her how that was ridiculous since I was promised a full refund for the first bag when that was less damaged than this.

Where did you get your perfect black flamma from?

NAP UK. I had been buying through NAP AP. My husband doesn't know why I still keep buying from them with all the issues.

Although I have never been told they wouldn't promise me a full refund until it had been assessed though. They have always been over the top apologetic and told me to send back for a refund.

Just terrible...I'd return both, too!
