Looking for advice.. did some shopping today and was looking for a belt, which was not in stock. My SA ordered for me to be delivered. After I got home I just saw the receipt and it’s not the color I asked for. Now, should I text her and let her know or would it be too late? Maybe I can receive the belt and perhaps like the color and if not return? I have never done a return before and it’s actually the first time ever ordering an item— likely the last time now. I don’t want to hurt my relationship with the SA as she even took down my wishlist for a quota at the end of the appt. What would you guys recommend I do ?

Don't worry. Get the belt, evaluate whether or not you want it, and if you decide you don't like the color, just take it back and explain that you don't think the color is quite right.

I agree with above - don’t overthink it!
If it were me, I would text my SA tomorrow and say “omg I just noticed on the receipt that the color is ___, but I wanted ___!” And put in the shocked emoji or something. And most likely your SA would apologize for the error and tell you how to proceed. If she already put the order through, she’ll let you know and probably tell you to bring it back. If she didn’t put the order through, she’ll order the correct color. It’s really not a big deal, and definitely nothing to stress over, and you won’t be harming your relationship . :flowers:

Agreed, although I will say, there have been times (H and elsewhere) where I've thought I wanted x color, but upon seeing it, I really wanted y. If you haven't actually seen the color in person, I'd say give it a shot if it's already on the way!

Do any of you know proper Hermes etiquette re: carrying a bag into boutique that was purchased pre loved/from reseller? Is it frowned upon by the boutique/your SA? Or is it common?
I've done it with vintage discontinued styles only and because my SA loves to see these older designs.
I'm sure its fine as I'm sure lots of clients take bags they purchased 2nd hand in to buy twilly's or to send to spa

Plenty of us walk into H with bags purchased in Paris as well as other parts of the world
A professional SA will not ask where your bag was purchased be it pre-loved or otherwise
I have found... I have bags that are older than some of the SA's I have known...

It’s your money and your bag, it shouldn’t be their business to “frown upon” your preloved bags. Don’t let how you think they might react dictate how you use your bags. And hey, if they really minded that you went the preloved route, maybe they should have offered you something themselves!

I just started my journey over again after being ghosted by last SA. My new SA is extremely up front and said that if my end goal is a B or K - that I need to:
1) Be loyal to them. It shows on my profile that I have shopped with 3+ SA's over the years and that is a no-no. I told him I want to stick with one person, but I just hadn't found that person yet.
2) Kinda goes in line with #1, but if I find something on the website I like, text him first. He will let me know if he is unable to help and I should find a different way of purchasing.
3) Only buy items I love and don't return items. This just makes me think harder on everything I buy, but he said it does put a 'negative mark' on your profile if you make returns.
4) It's a marathon and not a race. He said 2 years to me, but you just never know.

I plan on ordering/going into the boutique once per month. I have shopped with him twice so far, which was over the course of one week.
