I think the H game is getting a little too excessive. Not able to offer a client a picotin 18 after her spending over USD10k (from luvbagsandpups's post)? That's too much.
I personally don't like to be taken advantage of and just want to buy whatever I like whenever I like. Recently, I don't feel quite right with the H game. I feel like I am being constantly asked by SA to buy FJ or RTW a piece after another...even I already have FJ/RTW orders pending to be delivered. I am not even asking for anything unusual, just 1 more normal QB. I don't know what's wrong now.
Sorry for my rant, but I just don't feel happy with the current situation and feel like I don't want to be part of it anymore and may not want anymore H items. Shopping is supposed to be fun and make me happy, but I feel like H wants the clients to be obligated for spend after spend...after spend...

Totally agree with you @fice16. Shopping has become stressful rather than fun with this H game. It's such a frustrating process that it takes the joy out of shopping. No Picotin 18 after USD10k is ridiculous and I certainly feel for the poster.

My home store is also BH. I've been wishing for a picotin 18 and a mini evelyn and my SA keeps telling me they aren't getting any in. It's been over a year and I've spent over $10k and I'm in the store every 2-3 months. I can't tell if he's stringing me along.

That’s very odd. How much do you usually spend after each visit? I got a mini evelyn recently from BH after I spent about $4k in a month.

BH is my home store too. I don't think he's stringing you along, the demand has been unprecedented in an already competitive boutique (unfortunately). I didn't receive a non QB until I spent about $13k over a span of 4 months. My SA was transparent and indicated that it would take awhile due to said demand and limited supply. My SA even suggested I try my luck online if I preferred not to wait and I totally appreciated their honesty.

@haute okole, You are so lucky to still get wonderful offers at a reasonable prespend at BH.
I don't know what went wrong in my case, I am not actively asking for a QB (even I have 1 in wishlist). BUT I am being asked to buy FJ that are 1.5X - 2X every 2-3 months, in addition to my seasonal RTW purchases of 1.5-2X (per season).
I think I used to get reasonable service at my boutique, but now it feels like I am being treated as a money tree. Definitely not a good feeling. With the way the situation is happening at my boutique where there are newer clients getting QBs with 2X prespend or less, I can't help but I honesty have a bad feeling. I almost feel like I am ready to move on to other brands and don't want anything from my boutique anymore. If I really want something in the future, I may possibly look into the reseller route...

Do not do it if you would not buy the Fine Jewelry or RTW organically because you really want the aformentioned items. Leather bags, QB and non QB are in VERY short supply and Hermes is the ONLY corporate vendor today that is up year over year by double digit percentages. Even LVMH stock has gone down this earning season. Like I always say, there is always next season. Hermes is building several new manufacturing sites in France and the supply is already picking up since last season. I have been a collector for 10 years. Only since the advent of Instagram and the influencer community has Hermes gained a cult like obsession status, especially for the smaller bags. Don’t chase those. Give Hermes time to replenish their stock, buy stuff you really want, be patient and good luck.

Do you think she should pause with her current SA or move onto another store in a few months? I feel bad for her. It sounds like her SA is just milking her for money.

Hi Haute Okole, I have a similar, long purchase history at H like yours. I already have a good collection of H Quota bags, and not in a chase for anything. Recently, I was able to buy some desirable H SLGs overseas and buy 2 H bags from H.com. While It seems that it is getting more difficult to even get any bags or anything from my boutique, I was able to get the things I like with no prespend from H.com/overseas boutiques.

I was treated reasonably at my boutique in the past, I feel they are expecting more from me nowadays. I just don't feel like being taken advantage of. If I like something, I will buy something..that's my way going forward. Maybe I should consider stopping my H journey going forward.

Hi Haute Okole, I have a similar, long purchase history at H like yours. I already have a good collection of H Quota bags, and not in a chase for anything. Recently, I was able to buy some desirable H SLGs overseas and buy 2 H bags from H.com. While It seems that it is getting more difficult to even get any bags or anything from my boutique, I was able to get the things I like with no prespend from H.com/overseas boutiques.

I was treated reasonably at my boutique in the past, I feel they are expecting more from me nowadays. I just don't feel like being taken advantage of. If I like something, I will buy something..that's my way going forward. Maybe I should consider stopping my H journey going forward.

I actually it may be an issue of SAs realizing that certain clients have spending power. I certainly ramped up my spend when the stock market jumped in 2021 and declined when the tech trade plummeted and climbed again when the tech trade boomed earlier this year. My SA knows when I am in a shopping mood and when I am absolutely not because I tell him, not today, I am BROKE!

@shopinlovet I think only @fice16 can answer whether she should move on. But from how she is describing her more recent interactions, as the treatment being reasonable in the past, and that the SA may be taking advantage of her, I cannot imagine wanting to spend money in any store given those feelings.

My SA knows when I am in a shopping mood and when I am absolutely not because I tell him, not today, I am BROKE!

I tend to have a steady spend, but I did have some years which I had six figures purchase annually when I first started the H journey, which I think my SA knew. I am just concerned if they are trying to push those FJs that their other clients fail to purchase on me. No way I should foot the bills for them. They can get their "potential" clients to buy for them.
