Is it true that the narrower & more exact you are with your wishlist items (exact size color leather) the better your chance of getting a QB vs being more non-specific (ie. open to any neutral, any leather, anything under 35 size, B or K)? An SA in a big US flagship said this in passing but my local home SA has implied the opposite.

There is no real answer to this question, it is all situational dependent.

I also asked for some rodeos and twillies for my b30 and interestingly enough, the SA told me she should have both the GP the following week and rodeos usually come in at the beginning of each month, so I was pretty hopeful. But then radio silence and I even texted her to follow-up but nothing. Again, I have minimal spend history there so that’s probably why. Tried to buy it with her to start building a relationship, but when I see the GP and rodeos constantly on the US website, I just decided to buy it there. Sigh…

Understandable. I think due to the busy nature of Madison it can be hard nailing down an SA. Have you visited MP yet?

I will say this, if you happen to mention a specific size or color and they happen to have it in the back that’s unspoken for then yes you’ll get it most likely. I’ve noticed they won’t offer you Willy nilly but if you mention the “magic word” of the day then it opens up the treasure chest lol

Unfortunately, I think it’s best if you can go to the store in person rather than text. At least until you establish a solid footing with an SA.

Hello all! I've been looking to prespend on fine jewelry for a QB. My store does not have what I want in stock, and my SA would have to order it. Would this also "count" and would the SM appreciate this? I've been told that it's best to buy something in stock at the store... Thank you in advance for your help!

I keep reaching out to my SA with items that pop up on the website and they’re telling me just get it off the website. Does that mean my relationship with them is ruined?
