Hello grp, newbie here . I have been asking SA of my Sa can order thing but I rarely get reply but when I text when my Sa is in the store get reply right away. Does it mean my Sa is suggesting me to come to store instead of text to order ?

Once in store my SA take time to offfer drinks and we have great time thought just with life can't go there every month. I can only go every 2-3 months. Is it not good enough for SA at competitive store ?

Thankss so much in advance
My SA is not allowed to take his work phone home.
I imagine that is company wide policy and therefore explains why your SA only responds when they are in store.

I can confirm that it is a policy to not allow them to take work phones home. I was told that it is mainly due to privacy and data protection concerns. They do not want the clients information accidentally leaked, for example if a misplaced work phone gets lost (considering some of the VIP clients H can get they are probably a bit extra careful about this aspect than some other brands).

During COVID, they briefly allowed the SAs to take work phones home so they can work remotely (when the stores were all closed). I don’t think that is the case anymore since things have opened back up.

See some above comments regarding the text part.

As for the second part of the question. I think going every 2-3 months is perfectly fine. And I’ll be real blunt here: I think most (of course not all, always exceptions yada yada) SAs would care more about how much you spend each visit more so than how many times you visit.

I remember a member who has plenty good offers once shared that she only visits one of her stores a handful times a year. But she then spends at least six figures each time. And she gets the quota bags she wants.

If your store is competitive I think SAs would in fact rather that you don’t come in every single day asking for a bag. Some members have said that they enjoy visiting and just chatting and catching up with their SA, but I would assume that tend to happen only if 1) SA is under no pressure to sell and hit some target numbers, which is rarely ever because that’s always their job as an sales associate; and 2) they already have a good relationship with the client which they have built up; and 3) such more trivial visits happen at times when the SA isn’t busy, not needing to help anyone else, not needing to respond anyone else…which, if you have seen one of their phones and how many unread messages there are…

Hermes definitely prefers in person shopping; this seems to be a theme coming down from corporate. I personally think as long as your SA keeps you in mind for proposing quota bag offers to the SM you will get yours, just need to be patient and work with your SA. You definitely don’t need to remind your SA every single day for them to remember you (in fact that may only make them remember you for the wrong reasons). It’s more about your profile and shopping history anyways when the SM checks to approve the bag offer.

Girl let me know when you know, I normally randomly walk in but one time when I bought a few items I was given a card by a sa but it said “manager” or something among those lines. Maybe I should turn my house upside down to find the card lol, to message her and try to start a relationship with an sa?? I’m new to this whole game and need advice. Do people usually announce they will come in/make an appointment? The boutique in my city is very small but they are always very friendly and helpful
Your receipt may also have the SAs name. in general people who want a bag try to course the majority of their purchases through one SA who will then have the most incentive to advocate for you to their sales manager. But, in a tiny store, it’s also possible that this doesn’t make as much difference. I prefer to make an appt in general, but if I am simply browsing, I will just text my Sa a heads up to be polite, but not expect him to clear his schedule.

also, if you are new to the store, you might want to try different SAs until you find one that you feel gets your shopping aesthetic and routine, and go from there.

thanks so much for details!! I feel a bit less pressure now. I am not high spender and I am not pushy time but hope I can get one quota of my dream this year :D My store is around 2 or 3 :1 even for b30 T_T non leather probably 1:1 b30 and 2:1 for b25 if lucky.

@WhiteBus , I interpreted the drinks comment above bit differently

i thought @Lux Addicts was saying that the experience at the store was very nice and prompt (offered drinks etc.), and so the assumption was texts should be answered in a way commensurate with the service. Someone else once posted, yes, well a French company like chanel or H doesn’t really work by text bc the belief is texting is not a luxury experience.

Im a madison regular, and since the new store opening, they hired extra people specifically to offer drinks and espresso with a sad plastic wrapped cookie Lol. It’s just popular things like bags and RTW and homeware that cannot be found for love or money :P
thank you@ yes i had a feeling the way they treat customer changed! they seem to prioritize in store customer and also Chanel and Both H start to offer drinks to whoever comes which was surprising. I have good time when in store so I don't mind going but time is so limited for me T_T

As I suggested, pls scroll up the same page 503 as your original query for an answer. Page 503 contains several posts that discuss and quote the text of the referenced post by @acrowcountedon page 502.

To find more answers to your query on texting H SAs, pls try the search function, magnifying glass icon, upper right corner of your screen. This topic is widely discussed in pages immediately before your query and in many other threads.

I believe their statement was in reference to the online bag limit on H.com, which is separate from store purchases.
Hi! I am new to H and have been shopping since Feb 23 faithfully. Before I would go in and out of a boutique and grab a piece here and there. Is there a bag limit online; if so, what is that number and what is the timeframe, please. Thank you

Thanks for all the input on my last question. I’m also wondering how often you ask your SA about your wishlist? I only brought up my interest in a QB 3 months ago, after I was getting close to 1:1. Since then, I’ve gone in 3x and mentioned it once, and I’m not sure if it’s ok to keep mentioning like “oh I would love this color” or at this point just wait. We don’t have the kind of relationship where she texts me about new items coming in, I just go in when I know I want to buy something.
Sounds so familiar. Its three months for me too. I raised it with my SA at the 2nd visit and my last visit two weeks ago she thought I was asking about my wishlist/QB but I actually asking about a wallet and I let her continue (wasnt going to interrupt and let her know I wasnt talking about my WL) and she said soon...but dont know what that meant and didnt want to push the issue as well. As well, my SA doesnt send me pics of new items either which I wish because I mentioned to her what I like and gave her permission to reach out, but I dont know if that is part of the relationship?!

This is where I went wrong. I had a fabulous SA last year but wasn't ready to commit to the brand. I wanted to do more research etc., then this year ion Feb I reached out to the SA and learned he left the company. I went to my local boutique and was assigned an SA who was pleasant and they gave me their card. The experience has been nice but dont think they get my shopping "desires" and I am too invested with them now to change to another SA, especially since Ive worked with them solely for 3 months now.
