How do your SAs respond/ react to returns or exchanges? Having buyer’s remorse currently over an impulse purchase but my relationship is relatively new and I don’t want to jeopardize it. I don’t want QBs in the future but I would really like a Constance (or a few!)

Just be honest - no one wants to be thought of as an irresponsible impulse-buying customer who is always returning items - nonetheless if you don't behave in genuine manner now you never will and you will spend your Hermes life trying to second-guess what your SA thinks about you.
That would be ridiculous.

I've never gotten a negative reaction. Granted, I've only returned things twice in-store in the last 3 years. Especially if I'm buying an item as a charge send where I've never seen it in-person, my SA always says "if you don't like it, you can always return it". I've returned a couple items online in the same time frame, which I'm sure the store can see if they care, but my SA has never said anything.

I was in the Beverly Hills store 3 weeks ago with my SA and he didn't have anything. He said he would "flag" a bunch of things (jewelry, bags, SLGs, RTW) for me and would let me know when they got a shipment. I haven't heard a peep. Is it normal to go this long without a shipment of anything? Should I reach out? Thanks!

You can reach out if you want but yes, most things take months. He just put flags on your account for things he knows the store ordered but he has no idea when they might arrive. Could be months, could be never.

I had shoes that were flagged for me in S/S 22. I think it took over a month for them to arrive at the store. In my experience, 3 weeks for specific items is not a long duration. But your question is bout anything being delivered - to answer that specific question - it is highly unlikely. Deliveries have probably been made, just not of the flagged items.

I’ve had things flagged for over a month before they arrive, which is very Hermes ;)

I've had personal experiences before that things were "ordered" for me but literally did not arrive until almost a year later, sometimes in excess of that amount. Some examples include those clogs with the kelly buckle that have been popular. I originally wanted those in FW2020/SS2021 and they didn't show up until December 2021. A lot of homeware has ended up that way. Requested/flagged crystal glasses in April 2021, they arrived in May 2022. I have also had things "never" arrive so I took that to mean - either the store ordered it but it had to go to someone else or my store never ordered it and they couldn't coax another store, if they had it, to give it up. No rhyme or reason right now with the state of Hermes' inventory.

Returned to visit my SAs at a store I haven't shopped at in over 2 and a half years due to Covid, and 4 before that visit. My main SA retired recently, two of her longtime colleagues are also both retiring soon, so I was glad to have a chance to catch up before they left. The SM came by to chat, she enquired about my wishes and essentially I have now been assigned a new SA to look after me. So yes, I believe I am maintaining my relationships.

Thank you to everyone who contribute on this thread. I consider myself an H newbie and really took everyone’s advice on here on how to keep a relationship with my Hermes SA instead of watching influencer videos on how to do it… It’s true. If you like and value Hermes craftsmanship and quality, your SA sees it. The same way they can also sense desperation and know the people who would immediately leave the brand after getting a quota offer. I finally got my first offer after taking years for me to try and have the courage to walk into an Hermes boutique as I was intimidated by it all. But when you genuinely love something, approach SAs with respect, and truly realize anything Hermes right now is a hot commodity and willing to be patient… your wishes can come true! I was offered a Kelly 25 Sellier in Nata with gold hardware (my dream specs) and the next day my SA also called me in for a gold mini Evelyne cause I didn’t own any leather bags before my first offer. When it rains, it pours! Thank you again for all your insight on here!!! 519BD1F4-3C3D-4C70-A35C-83A01BFBF317.jpeg25E683D8-8065-4ABF-818B-406690D5B025.jpeg

Seems to be normal. Ideally the SA gets a notification when a flagged item for a client is in stock, though I’ve had it happen where a twilly was flagged but my SA didn’t get a pop up, and we ended up finding it the next time I came to visit.

I’ve had a scarf take 3 months, a pair of boots take 5 months before arriving. A few things were flagged for me the last time I visited a month and half ago, haven’t heard anything about any of them.

Hi! I was wondering if people share their online purchases/scores with their SA? Lately H.com has had a good amount of items in stock and I've purchased so many things online since the pandemic began... Fuzzy/teddy Orans, Chypre sandals, Calvi holder etc. My local boutique has been empty for a long time and whenever they receive anything it's gone in a flash! I wasn't sure if my SA would be annoyed if I told her I snagged all this H stuff online lol.

She’ll see it as soon as she opens your profile when you visit.
