Has anyone used the H website to grab an appointment? My usual SA hasn't answered my text in over two weeks, I have no idea if she's on vacation/leave, and the store almost never answers their phone calls.

I was able to "request" an appointment using the website, but the email states they would send another email once the request has been accepted and the appointment is confirmed. Just wanted to hear some input from others. TIA!

I have. Received a confirmation email the night before my appointment and another reminder on the day of. Worked very well and didn’t have to wait in the queue when I arrived a couple of minutes before the appointment time.

An update to my H appointment online request: I never received an email confirming my appointment, but my SA finally reached out to me, saying she saw the online request I placed.

So I guess your mileage may vary between different stores. It definitely works, maybe some stores or some SAs choose not to use it??

Of course it's my luck that she'd reach out to me after I was able to find my items online lol.

Has anyone given their SA a little gift like say chocolates for Xmas?
I wanted to give my SA something to say thanks for looking for stuff for me even though it’s my money in the form of sales she gets in the end but don’t want it to look like some kind of bribery.
Yes, I usually give baked goods for the whole store. Just a little cheer for the holidays! This year I gave mochi! Cuz who doesn’t like sweet rice with boba!

Yes. Small enough that it isn’t a bribe. Large enough so the SA knows I care. I do this with all my SAs, not just H. But, I also have to have a very strong relationship with them to do so. around the holidays, I bake, so these are items they can share that are also of low monetary value. This is simply a gesture of appreciation.
very well said and my sentiments exactly! It’s just a gesture of cheer and appreciation.

We brought her/her SM/colleagues cupcakes that we made in house by our baker on the day that we went in for private shopping event. It wasn’t a bribe or anything and I haven’t been with her that long. We just totally clicked and me and DH felt it was the right thing for us to do. We just want to show her appreciation and thank you for everything that she has done for us.
They were very happy and appreciated. And we were happy that they can enjoy it.
Food for the soul :)

Hi everyone
Im a newbie to this topic.
If you could chose to work with a SA who just started working for Hermes but you genuinely enjoy talking to or a more experience SA who I guess alredy has many loyal customers and not really look out for new one, who would you prefer to work with?
I recently started to shop at my local boutique and get to know the first SA, who also book for me an appointment to go through my wishlist for a Kelly. However since he just started with Hermes, another college of him was helping me out with my wishlist, his college even though very nice, is not very chatty person (Im by no mean a chatty person, but I do enjoy some conversations). I was purchasing some items with both SA and now thinking who I should stick to for my next visit.
Or should I try to work with another SA to find someone I really click with?
Thanks y’all

You said it yourself - the more experienced SA isn't really looking for new clients. Don't even go down that path, you'll likely end up disappointed.

In these situations, I always say take the gamble and go with the newbie. They're looking to build their client base and will be very happy to hustle to get what you want, including quota bags.

Or should I try to work with another SA to find someone I really click with?

I find the whole idea of really needing to click with a sales associate unnecessary. Sure, I want someone pleasant/professional, but at the end of the day it's a business relationship, not a friendship. Even if you find another SA you 'click' with more, that's no guarantee they'll actually come through with anything.

I'll take a SA that's not as chatty but understands what I'm looking for, and is responsive to text, vs. someone who I can chat with for 20 minutes in store but goes MIA when I reach out asking for something.

I agree. Newbies tend to have less big clients. But then again the most important is to be responsive to texts and get the wishlist items.

I didn’t get chit chatty with my SA until after about a year of working together.

I found that I clicked with my SA from the get go but I also agree with @DB8 that it's a business relationship. When I say I clicked with them, I mean that I had a positive experience - I wasn't able to get a bag that I wanted at first (not QB) but I was able to get a smaller item on my list. It was enough to keep the relationship going and my SA is extremely responsive over text, which is much appreciated. My DH and I don't feel judged with our casual attire (I mentioned earlier in the thread that I had a terrible experience in a different store where the SAs were really snooty until I walked in with a B). I'm not expecting my SA to be my personal friend but feeling like we've built rapport and an understanding goes a long way. My friend tried building a relationship at a different store and she felt like her SA just kept dangling the carrot and was not very upfront with her and the whole thing left such a bad taste in her mouth, she has ended up dropping the entire brand altogether.

Hi everyone
Thanks for taking time to respond and for your advises.
I think I will try my luck with the newbie, I feel more comfortable with him with the fact that I’m also new to the brand. I feel likes we are on the same page with that, he’s also struggle a bit with names of products…
I’ll just try my luck with the newbie And see how it goes. I’m living in Switzerland and there must be many big spenders and vip here, so as you say I’ll probably getting disappointed with a SA who already has many loyal customers.

You mentioned you are in Zurich. My experience in CH (others can chime in), is once you place a wish list with an SA, other SAs will refer you to that SA for wish list updates and inquiries. However, normal purchases can be rung up by anyone. Not sure if at the end you choose to switch SAs, the other SA will take you. But if you succeed, please report back

I think it’s very intimidating to deal with SA who judging customers by how they looks, and that keeps me not going to the boutique for a while. But I really like the brand and hope it’s working out this time.

Hi yes I’m living in Zurich. Thank you for sharing the information, I actually didn’t think about that. Now I wonder which SA actually taking care of my wishlist :D since the initial appointment was with SA 1, but he wasn’t experience enough to go through the wishlist with me, so SA 2 leading me through the process and also show his new college how it goes. I was purchasing 2 scarves with SA2 and asked for his contact information, he also gave me his number and said I should contact him if I’m looking for something.
I will just ask them that directly next time I pop into the boutique.
have a lovely day.

Sounded like SA 2 was just helping your SA through the process, but when you asked for SA 2 ‘s contact, SA 2 Simply responded politely? At any rate, you choose who you want going forward, and they will work it out. They do want you to be happy

i don’t need to be friends with my SAs, but I do want them to know what I like asap, and show me stuff accordingly and for the exchange to be pleasant and amiable. I prefer RTW and accessories to be waiting in the fitting room, as I get overwhelmed browsing the floor.

I always send a short sentence email or text thanking the SA for their curated choices for me (Not just with H SAs but with every premier RTW SA). If they showed me how to style a dress or persuaded me into RTW that I end up adoring, I sometimes send a pic. I do get a short response or positive emoticon back which is all I need. I do not bother them with a long list or a QB inquiry via email or text. JMO :)

I felt annoyed that I couldn't get good customer service if I wasn't carrying a B. How am I supposed to shop with you if you won't sell me anything? Such a catch-22. I previously worked with an SA who left and then I took a break from shopping after I had kids but I never felt judged by that SA or my current SA. I'm going to spend thousands of dollars at this store; I shouldn't feel like I have to beg to be treated like a human being. I'm glad I live in a city with several stores and someone encouraged me to try a different store. I've been happier since going to my current store and meeting my SA and from the interactions that I've noticed between the other SAs and their clients, everyone just seems a lot nicer.
