That’s exactly what I’m concerned about, I work in corporate and know u have to register customer gifts from the value of xx
Yes so for FSH I basically no longer bring or send anything. My SAs are more comfortable with that and they always prefer sitting down and having a nice chat. In other regions, small and simple food gifts to share across the team is appreciated. No high value items like crazy vintages of wine, caviar etc. Believe me, people have tried.

I’d be interested to hear about any crazy gifts customers give SAs  the mega rich may think we if I give them this 100 year old rare thing I will get a b or k:biggrin:

I am not sure if this is the right thread as it's also related to SO. Previously my SA indicated to me that he's gonna give me a chance to do a SO (he mentioned it more than once). But almost a month went by since I last saw him and still no news. I am wondering if SO has to be approved by the manager or if the SA has entire discretion to decide to whom the SO will be given. I really like my SA but it's a bit disappointing when I had my hope up. I know I should have a conversation with him but I also don't want to bring it up yet as it may seem pushy. Any idea?

The SM has to approve a SO slot offer just like any other bag offer.

Thank you. I suspect my profile is not strong enough. At least I have that in the back of my mind now so I can think that my SA did try.

Also keep in mind that allocations on SOs has decreased to the boutiques. My local boutique still has not received any allocations for 2022 so the VIPs will likely still get one but there will be less for others

nobody ever answered:

"it's easy to understand. You offer me a B / K / C, I'll spend money for it".

<really, sometimes I think, a few SAs need a little down -to-earth-wake-up-call-
The Thing is that The House of Hermes is so much more than the 'big three' bags.
If that is all anyone is interested in they may as well go the pre-loved or re-sale route.
I think that SA's must get sick and tired of people just being interested in quota bags and part of unwritten rule that to get an offer one must spend in other categories is partly to sort out the wheat from the chaff and open new clients eyes to all that the house actually has to offer.

Could someone please tell me if a sales specialist is the same as sales associate? I believe the person that helped me is a sales specialist but I thought it is the same as sales associate? Thank you in advance

So beautiful! What leather is that?
Last weekend, my SA said one customer came in and spent 100k, got a 70k croc birkin. This level of spend!
:amazed::amazed: Must be nice to drop 100K in one transaction. 20K made my DH sweat already, can only imagine if I drop 100K (I wish lol):nuts::nuts: and thank god I’m not into exotic goods/leather :lol::lol::lol::lol:

With low inventory, how did the customer managed to find everything he/she love in the store and spent that amount in 1 day unless it is furniture or high jewellery?

And tsk tsk….why did Hermes offered the croc bag?! Shouldn’t the customer demonstrate exploring across categories over a long period of time, showing loyalty and all that?

Exactly!!! Don’t mean to be a debbie downer but a little hypocritical. But I don’t know the whole context.
