And what exactly did I do that might be generating the vibe that I don’t love the brand? I just put in 13k of my hard earned money, is that not proof. I really don’t like this attitude that if someone is having a hard time at H it’s their own fault because they are a terrible person, like some elitist garbage of the “ideal” H customer.

Spelling it out:
Whether you love the brand or not is nothing to do with being a 'genuine and sincere customer';
The attitude that if someone is having a hard time it's their own fault implies that it is something that person does, or how they come over, that is the reason why they are not getting the service they would like;
There is no reason to equate that with an accusation that 'they are a terrible person';
Language like 'elitist garbage' reflects an underlying attitude which might project through other actions.

Underpinning so many of the more subtle responses and answering the beginning of your question:
your 100k list, post #5041, could suggest a fantacist

QED

It could also be that someone at the store saw my posts, the reason SA steered me to profile heavy stuff is to actually help all their customers with a profile for maximum chance of SM approval and was very offended at my suspicions haha. If that’s the case I accept what has happened haha

Having a long list = a fantasist not a a genuine customer. Do not understand at all. It’s only 100k because H price points are so high

I just read some of your earlier posts. Did you just start the H journey a month or two ago?
If yes, please just be patient and enjoy your journey. H products do come in slowly and they do take several months or even close to a year to appear. If you can afford to spend 1:1 every 2 months in H boutique, I think you likely can get an offer in 6-12 months as a new customer (given the current low inventory condition).
Just buy what you geniunely like and take your journey slowly and make it an enjoyable one.

@Itinerantd
I will repeat what I said in my previous post-and I shall try to put this in a way that doesn't cause offence.
You are OVERTHINKING!!!!!
You mentioned in an earlier post that you are a student? If you put even half as much energy and time into studying your chosen subject as you seem to in worrying what your SA may or may not be thinking I am sure you will do very well in your chosen subject.
I work in Luxury sales across multiple brands and the past month has been manic for all of us, with staff isolating due to the new variant of the virus (and it appears that this is now a global issue) and of course Christmas holidays, New season stock arriving etc etc.
Working in sales is a juggling act..You are not your SA's only client therefore for all the reasons mentioned in my previous paragraph I feel you are being somewhat unfair being upset that he or she has not reached out to you a day after you messaged them or indeed that they have not begun to source all the items on your list.
You seem obsessed with spend...speaking as someone who works in sales my clients who aren't big spenders but are loyal (and by loyal I dont mean they visit every week, it can be every few months or even only once a season ) are just as valued and important as those who spend more.....I am sure that your SA (and indeed most Hermes SA) feels the same.
I personally find it insulting to your sales associate that you are filled with the suspicion that he is just selling to you with commission in mind.
You don't trust him and he no doubt as a sales professional he senses that.
Its not enjoyable selling to a client who is filled with mis-trust and suspicion.
If you want to buy SLG and he guides you to another category he may just be following his management directive to introduce new clients to other categories and share his knowledge-If you dont want to buy something from one of those categories be honest-buy your calvi or whatever.
You are worrying far too much than is healthy about what the SA may or may not be thinking of you.
What we may or may not be thinking of you.
stop wasting so much mental energy on this.
either enjoy the ride or move on.

Lol I’m not a student. Thanks for your thoughts, really do appreciate it if it comes from a place of genuinely wanting to help.
just wanted to add, the assumption that I’m a student and everything in that paragraph is littered with the same type of condescension as the rest of your posts tone and the tone of those who agree with this versus calmly explaining to me how H works. Assuming that I am mad about SA not sourcing anything, when I clearly said that is NOT the case. I’ve had enough. You guys can have this brand to yourselves.

Yeah you know what I think I will move on. Appreciate those who did have helpful information and took the time to explain. Truly appreciate it! But yeah some others. People laughing at my posts. Maybe misunderstood the tone due to typed versus in real life, but I’ve had enough. H is not for me in its current environment. Glad to find out before I put in more money.

naaaa come on, I feel you. Don't let your frustration riun a perhaps wonderful experience. And just for the laughter, H made me so mad at one time, that I wrote an email to them, saying (let me quote myself) " IF H would be a person, we'd need couple therapy right. now. !!"

See, there are so many frustrations coming the way, but at the end of the day, H has really wonderful items to purchase. Even if it's not a Birkin (see: 4 years)

The point of you asking questions and advice, is that you want to take away something from it, I would think? Most members taking time and effort formulating their answers and giving explanations to you are long time H customers with their own experiences with the brand. They are not out to get you or ridicule you, but want to seriously explain shopping at H is a whole different ballgame, with its own set of rules. To me, at least reading your responses to some of them, you don’t really seem to be actually reading and understanding what they are trying to tell you?
Stop overthinking should be the way to go. And be respectful to the SA as you yourself want to be respected. In terms of your expectations of them, as well as their time. This thread is called Maintaining an H relationship (hate that word in this context btw), remember that it’s mutual and it will get you wherever you want it to go. What’s the point of being wary or suspicious of everything your SA does and says, and even assuming they are monitoring your posts here? That‘s very center-of-the-universe thinking, which clearly doesn’t help in how you view and treat that person. If you don’t like your SA, just find another one instead of forcing it because it all starts and ends with your SA. No amount of money throwing can help if the SA doesn’t get a good vibe from the client.
H indeed may not be for you, it’s not for everyone and people for some reason can get very frustrated. It’s still only shopping, nothing more.

When I started my H Journey years ago, I was impatient. I was willing to drop 1:1 to get offered QB on spot. But back then was much easier. I can say now it’s quite impossible especially this time. My only advice is pretty much same like everyone else in this forum, be patient, mutual respect between you and your SA is a key and if you feel like you don’t get the same vibe , find another SA is probably the best solution. After all, it’s the brand that we love. Don’t get discourage because of the SA. There are lots of wonderful SA who will genuinely help you to get your dream bag , just give them time and your trust.

Good for you. If you don’t have the stomach for this, just move on.

Although I still want to add on that when I got frustrated at waiting, I would go into the store and buy ready stocks. I dont make requests and get hung up. It’s less frustrating. Up front I told the SA that it sucks that whatever I want is not available. So I will come in as and when I can to see what I like is available or not. If there is nothing I want, I will not get anything. Magically, there is 80 to 90% of the time that there is something to buy. Of course not discounting the fact I got a watch which was ready stock. So it could also be the number of times I show my face at the store and not how much I drop at the store that matters. If there is no time for that, pls save everybody the trouble.
