It could also be that someone at the store saw my posts, the reason SA steered me to profile heavy stuff is to actually help all their customers with a profile for maximum chance of SM approval and was very offended at my suspicions haha. If that’s the case I accept what has happened haha
Assume this is joking lol :smile: bc my SA works hard and the last thing he would ever do with his limited time is log into TPF to guess if he knew anyone
he is too exhausted by all the QB seekers IRL to search it out virtually

i do have to go back and read bc i thought you didnt want the 9K watch and didnt want your long term list fuflfilled right away

agree with @Justlikewhatilike, to just go in; if you see something you like, go for it. I like a lot of stuff too, but thats just me. Don’t be too high maintenance, but its okay to ask for what you really want (Though you may need to wait) Sometimes its better though to ask in person bc they dont have unlimited time to spend on their phones. JMO th ough and of course YMMV

edit to add: i dont think anyone is laughing at your posts. I can of course only speak for myself, but when i respond to posts, i take it seriously as do most poster here :smile: (And especially during covid when i returned to TPF, i spend a lot of time reading and responding on TPF and shopping H)

The point of you asking questions and advice, is that you want to take away something from it, I would think? Most members taking time and effort formulating their answers and giving explanations to you are long time H customers with their own experiences with the brand. They are not out to get you or ridicule you, but want to seriously explain shopping at H is a whole different ballgame, with its own set of rules. To me, at least reading your responses to some of them, you don’t really seem to be actually reading and understanding what they are trying to tell you?
Stop overthinking should be the way to go. And be respectful to the SA as you yourself want to be respected. In terms of your expectations of them, as well as their time. This thread is called Maintaining an H relationship (hate that word in this context btw), remember that it’s mutual and it will get you wherever you want it to go. What’s the point of being wary or suspicious of everything your SA does and says, and even assuming they are monitoring your posts here? That‘s very center-of-the-universe thinking, which clearly doesn’t help in how you view and treat that person. If you don’t like your SA, just find another one instead of forcing it because it all starts and ends with your SA. No amount of money throwing can help if the SA doesn’t get a good vibe from the client.
H indeed may not be for you, it’s not for everyone and people for some reason can get very frustrated. It’s still only shopping, nothing more.
Ok I agree with if there is a vibe of suspicion they may be turned off by it. But other than that I fail to see how ANY of what I’ve done is disrespectful to the SA or not how I would want to be treated. I always make their appointment time worthwhile by spending as much as I can with my budget. I make sure to text only at acceptable hours of the day using very few message and with very courteous language as I talk in real life, “no rush much appreciation.” When realized the mistake with 100k list I listened to the advice of experienced H shoppers here and immediately notified SA not to use their valuable time if I can’t buy all at once.
 
Why I think there are people from stores here. In store specific threads, many people have listed their frustrations and then magically their problems are solved. Example: *several* people who have waited a long time spent a reasonable amount and complain about no bag and how they are thinking of no longer shopping or switching stores. They magically get offered a bag the next few days. For me I asked about what to do if there is no confirmation email to my first appointment request online and most responding to my post said they never got a confirmation their first time with that store and some even suggested I go to another store close by. I magically get a confirmation next day. It may not be the SA but there might be someone tasked with monitoring for frustrated customers and if they are about to lose business. Honestly other than TPF I can’t think of a larger community of H shoppers. Ive not found any with as much discussion on Facebook or Reddit.

even if all above was just my imagination I think we can all agree there are people from stores monitoring social media for resellers!

There are times when one has to read between the lines.. This is one of those times, JMO
H is a wonderful world to explore & there are items well worth the wait whatever one
chooses to spend

Exactly! There are people here completely misunderstanding the reason I’m not happy and thinking I’m upset because nothing was sourced! I’m just asking for opinions on why a 9k watch was suggested but nothing else on that list was even worked on (as far as I know- could be wrong and an unfair assumption on my part of course!).

How shall I put it across without smashing the fairytale of H….

Every single item at is a candy bar to make someone happy (although my first thought was a bullet). If you bought the 9k watch, then the other candy bars could be kept to make some other people happy.

If the reason is I’m not exuding the right *aura* or The One True Way to shop H like some seem to think here, I am very happy not to come back.

Perhaps you just need to take a time out from all of this.
Your SA offered you a 9K watch which you seem hesitant in purchasing.
This is the holiday season & client requests are through the roof with limited inventory.
SA's deserve a break every now & then when a "wish list" may be impossible to fulfill

What is the response that you would like from your SA on spending 9K on a watch you are
hesitant in buying?

By the way I’m not complaining that nothing has been sourced. I took everyone’s suggestion and told SA immediately no need to get everything for the next appointment to avoid wasted efforts, much appreciation. SA did not say if any effort has been made for the non-watch items. SA suggested I come in to try the 9k watch. I said ok and I gave my next availability which is a few weeks from now and he/she had no response to that.

I don’t think you should take it that way.

There are times when I showed hesitation on an Item, my SA will not proceed with the sale. Even when I verbally or via text said I would get it. It will be more work on the SA should I regret and ask for return or exchange later.

Quite a number of pages back, I mentioned that for watches, they have to send it back to Switzerland to be authenticated before allowing the return or exchange. I was told it could take 4 months.
