oh woow, that would frustrate the hell out of me, tbh. Kudos to your patience and thank you for the intel. But on the other hand, you aren't alone, during my last visit I saw a pretty regular customer (whom I've alreday met several times when at H) getting a Kelly and she said " I had to wait for it for 5 years". That left me puzzled, but hearing that all bags... really, Hermès, not funny.
Just curious...was her K a unicorn or hard to come by combo? 5 years is a long time to wait for a bag.

Thanks!! Yea, I've noticed that there are quite a lot of 31s on the website, so it's hard to believe they haven't trickled into the store in a while. I'm also trying to "maintain" my H relationship and patiently wait for my local boutique to get more stock. :coolio:
Ahh, gotcha. I understand: I saw an item online that I really wanted, but abstained for the same reason as you. Sadly, the SA took a while to get back to me, and by the time she did, it was all sold out online and she told me it wasn't available in store. The things we do.

Made me think if this particular store is actually feeding the resellers htg bags.

I have been offered 3 SO’s, all of which I have rejected. I buy RTW, fine jewelry, and blankets from my home store in Beverly Hills, Rodeo Dr. I have had the same SA for 7 years and my typical spend is in the mid five figures each time I visit. I only shop 4 to 5 times a year, when invited. I never initiate contact with my SA or have had a wishlist.

Hey guys,
I love Hermés and almost all of their products and have bought several items before. My city has two stores and I always shopped in one of them but with 2 different SAs, as my "main" SA is always busy. That store has also my Quota Bag wish in their system. I recently discovered that the second store has better stock though and I bought an agenda there. The lady was lovely and gave me her card.
I am now planning on switching stores (stock is one of the reasons) but the new SA told me that I have to delete my bag wish from the first store and then make another wish in the second if I ever want to get a qb from them.
Did something similiar ever happen to you guys? Does the wait for a bag start again completely? They can still see my purchase history from the first store, right? And how do I even delete a bag wish? I am so confused
It might help if I tell you that I'm located in Europe/Germany.

My experience is slightly different but similar in some ways.

I had also switched stores due to various reasons. My new SA gave me her card and said she could be my new SA if i choose to. But in order for her to offer me a bag in the future, she wants me to inform my old SA that I will be switching SA. She mentioned something about not having problems with stealing customers from the other SA. Honestly though, i just think she wants me to cut ties with my old SA and just strictly shop with her to prove my loyalty.

One thing for sure though is if you switch stores, you will have to start fresh at the new boutique. Whatever that you have spent at the old store will not count at the new store, although all your purchase history will still be visible under your profile.

If I was in your spot, I'd be careful telling the old SA that I will be switching to another SA in another store. I will just continue to shop with my new SA.....and if we really get along and she offers me a bag, then I will continue to be a loyal client. No need to formally say good bye to the old one. It's not like you are committed to the SA legally that you need to terminate a contract formally or anything like that.
I will not risk it and annoy the old SA especially if she offered me bags and other nice items in the past because I don't know how the new SA truly is yet and what her capability is as a seller. What if she doesn't offer you anything and you discover that the old SA is so much better?

Does anyone here know if buying duplicate or similar items will cause you to be flagged as a reseller? In my case, I bought a gold necklace which I ended up giving to my mother because she liked it so much. Now I'm kinda missing it and want to buy another for myself lol. It's a pretty in-demand style though, so I don't want my SA to think I'm buying multiples to resell.

I bought multiple Calvi's in different colors - one for myself and one as a gift. I don't think buying 2 would flag you as a reseller, especially if you tell your SA that it was a gift? People collect things like rodeos, orans in multiple colors, lots of twilly's... I have multiples of all of those. I guess I haven't heard of people buying multiples for jewelry as much (maybe similar bracelets to stack?) but really, I don't see why your SA would find it weird if you're buying in stores/through the SA.

Thanks for your response  I agree, what you described (collecting items in different colors/leathers) is understandable! I was just worried for my case because it's the exact same necklace. Hopefully my SA will understand.

I reckon it won’t be a problem and it always helps as with time if your SA knows well, you could mention the first was a gift to your mother and you would like one for yourself. I think SAs can tell when customers buy multiples of Orans in their size, in different colours and we know many who collect Rodeos in every combo made. The problem starts when someone buys Orans in the same colours in different sizes repeatedly or wants every So Black Rodeo they can find, or any Pegasus charm at all, or in the same combination, over and over.
