For advice on how to shop at your local store please do a search in Hermes Shopping sub-forum and look for your store/region/country.

I’m sorry you’ve not had an optimal experience! Shopping should be at least pleasant and ideally enjoyable, whether at Hermes or at the grocery store... There’s no excuse for a rude SA, even when they are rushed!

Not based in NYC so I’ll let local members give their expert advice on stores, but your purchasing profile is with mostly with the store itself, not an individual SA. Have you tried requesting those items to be ordered, in writing by email?
Hi thanks for your response and time  yes I emailed her but she couldn’t arrange. But then I visited again to see how things were going how was her attitude this time I bought a pair of shoes but again she was in constant hurry (clients are waitin) even though I am also her client who came after taking an appointment as well  I was quite intimidated.I visited 2 times in a month of may and i felt so tense and annoyed every time I left the boutique. She is really territorial and somewhat condescending.

So I’m curious if I change SA at same store it will affect my profile? What will new SA think about me it wouldn’t be more difficult for me to get my dream bag? It won’t be rude I’m new to Hermes USA and don’t know how things works here.
OR I should change the store and go to Meatpack store?

part of shopping luxury is the experience itself. if you find yourself stressed out from the experience, then I would switch. What is your spend with your current SA so far? I wonder if you can just speak to the store manager and see if you can switch to another SA that suits your shopping styles better.

NYC also has multiple stores, have you consider switching to another?

Yeah, definitely change SA. Do you know what days she is not in store? You can take an appointment for that day and be assigned someone else automatically. Otherwise, try one of the other NYC stores (check out the thread @_kiki119_ put just above) and see if you have a better feeling with a new person there. :flowers:

And remember: you're the client here. Don't be afraid to express your tastes and wishes. You should be able to request items and get the ones that are available without stress (but sometimes a whole lot of waiting lol) or bad attitude, it should be pleasant transactions with a professional who makes you feel valued as a customer on the other side of the desk.

I have been offered 3 SO’s, all of which I have rejected. I buy RTW, fine jewelry, and blankets from my home store in Beverly Hills, Rodeo Dr. I have had the same SA for 7 years and my typical spend is in the mid five figures each time I visit. I only shop 4 to 5 times a year, when invited. I never initiate contact with my SA or have had a wishlist.
I always get tripped up by folks saying mid-five figures. Do you mean $50,000 (middler point of 10k-90k) each time or something else?

Thanks for your response:smile: I bought an Oran sandals. I would like to build a relationship with one store in NYC ( don’t really have funds to go all over the place...) I want to buy some SLG’s ,some home goods. But this SA acts completely indifferent and "unmoved" by my interest.I've heard of some SMs not as approachable. My profile is just starting and I’m not big spender.
thinking about Meatpack branch. But I live in 5th Avenue so Madison is more convenient. Such a dilemma

If all you bought is a pair of Orans, you really needn’t worry about this, especially since she didn’t seem thrilled to have a new client anyway. Also if she was this rude to you, she’s likely that way to her coworkers as well so I wouldn’t fear her influence on them. Try again at Madison with a different SA. If you’re still not feeling it after that, switch to Meatpacking but it’s at least worth a shot with Madison before committing to going far out of your way forever. Nothing to lose.

For $50k 4-5x/year, you get ALL the SOs (said in Oprah voice :panic: )! May I ask why you have not wanted one?
Lol, I did not spend that my entire 7 years, just the last 1.5 years. Actually, I am pretty mad at myself for my lack of control, but I rationalize the spend by saying I had to fortify my daughter’s winter wardrobe for college. I have refused all of the SOs because I am rather indecisive and have always been offered a beautiful limited edition Birkin instead.

LOL well that's a wonderful "consolation" prize...jk!

Separately, if you (or anyone else knows)...is there a way to get the previous limited edition Lettre Kelly (aka Kellygraphie) from the boutique or just the resale market at this point?
