Constances are hard to get, just as hard as a B or K, according to my SA. It's sad but 2K isn't that much of a spend by H standards. It can also depend on where you are.

SAs have different communication styles. They also employ different sales tactics. They don't always reply to email. Trying calling the store and asking for your SA, like some other people suggested.

The H experience can be frustrating. If you don't want to wait and you don't want to buy other things, the reseller route can be quite gratifying and you are more likely to get the specs you want. There are lots of threads here about it.

On the other hand, I went into Hermes fairly recently after a not so great encounter at my local LV store. I started out buying scarves (my gateway H, as I like to call it) and then got a bag, SLG, shoes. It's a slippery slope. But my SA and I have common interests and we genuinely have fun shopping together. I've actually never had this much fun with a SA before--I usually like browsing by myself. I also like that she's realistic--she added my specs to my wishlist but she was clear that it'll be a wait. I love H products so I'm fine with waiting. At the end of the day, if it's causing you frustration, then it's not worth it. It's a business transaction and it's material things.

I would like to get a B/K but if I don't, I'm fine with it since it's not going to change my life.

Hmmm, if your SA is unresponsive to emails, I’d suggest you call your H store to speak to him directly to make an appointment for next time. At said appointment, ask him politely if it would be alright to ask for his number so you can text him directly in the future.

Having said that, I am aware that some H SAs are reluctant to give their cell numbers to non-established clients. It’s their personal number after all, and I imagine they get texts and calls at all hours from clients during their own personal time. Hence their hesitation sometimes in giving out their number to just anyone who asks for it.

Anyway, I hope you manage to iron this communication issue out with your SA. As other members have helpfully advised, manage your expectations and practice patience if you want to buy a Constance - they are treasured bags and only awarded to those who demonstrate how much they love the brand. Good luck!

I always assumed it was their work cellphone number, not personal phone? If it is their personal number...then I should really be grateful for my SA!

Hi everyone, here is my story: I been buying from the same store for almost 3 years, spent more than 12K till now but not yet get a birkin. My SA was nice offered me once a b30 in Johnathan leather, since I want to get a b25 and Johnathan leather definitely not my cup of tea so I have turned it down. I know I'm not a big client but from the amount I spend on other goods think i can get what i want from reseller already... should I text my SA again regarding on wishlist or just wait?
(sorry of my poor english not a native speaker)

Do not text
You need an honest face-to face discussion with your SA
Say what it is you would like
Ask if your SA will be able to get it for you
and when
Do not be satisfied with vague promises
Which country are you in?

Which country are you located?

It is important to give some idea which continent you are in
because it seems to change the way you are treated and what is expected

Asia seems to be more up front - if you want this bag, you need to spend this much.

Asia country, I don't want to disclose it cos here only has one H store.

In Asia, the B25 is one of the most coveted bags right now. Demand and competition is fierce between SAs and their clients.

Unfortunately, I’m sorry to say that spending 12k over 3 years isn’t enough to be offered a B25 in Asia. Especially if your country only has one H store - meaning less stock in general. The demand for the B25 must be over the roof!

In general, the expected spend ratio in Asia for a B25 is 1.25x within a year. Of course, there are exceptions like Japan, but in most places that is the general expectation.

I’m sorry that your SA wasn’t upfront about this from the start and strung you along so long  It’s time to sit him/her down for a serious talk. A three year wait is ridiculous!

Thank you very helpful advice, I will speak to him. I don’t mind waiting as this is not an emergency, and will manage my expectations. This is much more complicated than I had imagined.

I would agree... the unfortunately part is that 12k over three years is imo low spending even for US stores. Asian countries require ridiculous spending most of the time, especially for b25. I would be open to other sizes or look at preloved. Good luck!

Hey everyone, hope you all having a fab year so far[emoji3526]

Last year wasn't a great year financially for me, So haven't bought anything other than a scarf and a bolide 27. My last K/B purchase was two years ago.

I did receive a lovely Christmas card from them which gives me hope they haven't forgotten me[emoji846]

My SA is lovely but not sure how to bring up a Bag wishlist for this year with her since I've not shopped for awhile. Email or in person?

How does everyone go about their wishlist regarding bags? Are you quite straightforward about about your wishlist? Or is the softly approach the way to go?
