Hey everyone, can anyone chime in on my current situation? I tried doing a search but not having any luck around my question. I have also read through this whole thread but it was a while ago now so I don’t remember if this question was asked before.

My city just opened another hermes boutique. My main SA is still in the original hermes boutique which I am still maintaining and will always go to her first but I also have a pretty good relationship with some of the other SAs too who have moved to the new store. Is it ok to build relationships in both stores? And have my Wishlist in both stores? Or is that frowned upon?

Although my profile is maintained as one, how does spending work in two separate stores? Can I spread the love by just buying at either if the right items come along? Do I have chances of being offered from either one of my SAs? Or should I only be sticking to one as only my main one will make the offers? I’m confused and don’t want to burn my bridges unnecessarily :(

I've had a 20 year history with H, mostly traveling. I buy what I love, and really appreciate the products, particularly scarves, watches and SLG's.

For the last year, I've made regular trips to my home store, working with one SA - the person assigned by the manager on the floor to help me on my first visit. We don't have a real connection. She's polite enough, but certainly not friendly, nor helpful. The only communication we've ever had is if I go to the store - she's only answered one email in all that time, never returned a phone call, never sourced a hard-to-find product I was looking for, etc. I've lost much of my enthusiasm for shopping at H because of her and order more online, but still make purchases every 6-8 weeks or so in store. Also, she's always been firm that the wait for a neutral B would be 3-4 years. Again, I am a true fan of the H brand, and am not shopping just to get a bag, but it would be nice, and that seems like a very long time. Combine that with her generally uninterested/unhelpful manner and behavior, and I'm not enjoying my in-store experiences with H.

Twice in the last few months, when I went to the store and asked for my SA she was not there. Another SA helped me both times, and he was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a whole new shopping experience, completely different, and the way luxury shopping has always been in my experience, before this other SA. On the second visit, which was last week, he offered me a complete dream bag, which I happily accepted! Going forward, I only want to shop with this second SA. I understand from reading this forum that it is difficult, if not impossible, to switch SA's, but I really want to make the change. This second SA knew I was working with the first one, but offered me the bag because he knew I would love it for Christmas. To make the switch, would you suggest a conversation with the SM? I haven't met the SM before.

From talks with my store, it is very easy: simply let them know. The SM might be good to tell. Even an email would be good so there is physical proof they can reference rather than he said/she said.

From what i hear Just pick one SA at one store (if in the same country). Unless you are a super vip big spender. I’ve heard that in order to be approved for a bag, they look to see whether you have purchased from other stores. So it will be harder to get bag approval if you spend at two store, unless you spend a lot at each store. This is just my understanding, but i could be mistaken. Perhaps a more veteran member can chime in on this.

Thank you and noted! I might have to just stick to one to avoid any risks [emoji8][emoji8]

From my personal experience... I used to shop within the states (different store each time) but just small items and whenever I am travelling. I wasn't working with any SA in particular until recently in bellevue, washington. I think my current SA can feel that we have a good connection and he asked if I want to make this store my "home store" so I do think you should stick to the main one.

Yep I’ll stick to my main one, thanks for sharing your experience [emoji8]

Hello ladies. I need some advise please. I went in to my local H boutique about a month ago for a belt. I met a very lovely SA who ended up ordering my perfect strap and buckle combination, in a total three visits. during my first visit, I told her I really wanted a Constance 18, so she created a wish list for me. on my second visit, she showed me a Constance 18 just for reference, not an offer. on the third visit, she left me a message so I can pick up the belt kit without her being in the store. the woman who rung me up, showed me a B25 (one they show for reference), I fell in love. The next day, I sent my SA an email thanking her for all of her help with the belt and requesting if I could add a B25 to my wish list.

that was last week Friday. I don't know whether I should follow up with her. perhaps I can call instead? I really would like for her to help me build my H collection.

do any of you ladies have suggestions on how you would handle this? or what has been your experience with your SA communication. thank you!

I would give her a call at the store. Sometimes the SA doesn't want to talk about or mention bkc over email communication. But that's just my experience.

thank you leanneju! I will call her.
I wouldn't call her about it. I would visit the store again and make another purchase and remind her about it then. Assuming the belt kit is the only item you've bought with her, you will likely need to build the relationship further before a B25 becomes an easy option. Good luck!
