I’d love to hear more about the outcome of your next shop visit, if you would be willing to
Update! I went shopping recently and was able to speak to my SA about the bags I was interested in. They had me sit down and describe the bag I wanted. The conversation went smoothly and everything was casual. I asked for Clemence leather, but they said they don’t get those often and put me down for Togo since it is similar. My hunch is that they don’t get those very often for my level of spend, so I will clarify once I’m closer to being offered one and have shopped longer. I appreciate that they are being considerate of my spending habits when suggesting what can be offered to me in a reasonable timeframe given how competitive that location is. I’m not actually sure what my presend is, because my SA has sourced many things for me (that I love) from other boutiques. Regardless, I have a ways to go to wait for a bag, but now that my SA and I are on the same page about my goals, I feel much more assured about asking for things. I’ve realized working with my SA directly is a huge part of what I value about shopping at Hermes, so I’m going focus more on really enjoying in-store shopping and maybe going a little less often so that it feels more like a fun/special occasion. The store had good stock this trip and I was able to go home with some RTW that I would never have picked from looking at the website alone. (Apparently at my store (US-based), stock is often gone before it even arrives because clients are looking at the French or other Int’l websites that get stock a few months earlier so I will also be looking there moving forward when I am curious about what’s available online). As I understand the brand more (leather types, colors, etc.) I’m starting to find my rhythm in buying things unseen versus knowing when to shop in person based on what I actually enjoy. Thanks again to everyone who provided advice and support!

Just wanted to share my exicitment!
I explained this to my boyfriend yesterday and he didn’t quite seem to get it lol.
Saw my SA yesterday to pick up some small things and they asked me afterwards if there was anything else I wanted like any bags. I was almost shocked they mentioned it themselves. I gave them my specs and they mentioned I should get it before the end of the year.
I was super nervous to start shopping at the boutique and my first experience wasn’t the best. I ended up meeting my SA in June and they’ve been the best!
Fingers crossed my bag comes in time for Christmas

Aw congrats! Happy to hear!

I’ve read (and noticed throughout my own experiences) that often they’ll mention wishlist to you at checkout when they believe your profile is ready for the next qb! So that’s very good and exciting news

Thank you so much!! <3
From your experience, do you think I should continue to visit the boutique on a monthly basis until I get my bag?
Or take a step back until my SA reaches out to me?
There are some things I still want to pick up so I was just wondering how I should approach it.

Thank you so much!!

I would continue to shop normally, and obligation-free. Buy what you like, but probably no need to bring it up to your SA.

I would visit at a pace you can afford and that works for your lifestyle. If you really want a quota bag, the minimum is probably every 2-3 months. More is better if it works for your lifestyle.

I would not make an appoint just to “visit” with no spend or very minimal spend like a nail polish. I think that is more damaging than not coming in.

Thank you for your advice!
I’ve been going in minimum 2 times a month to make purchases so I’ll continue to do so just to solidify my offer!
I already have another bag in mind for my next wish so I was just thinking I wanted to save some of the things I wanted to buy to go towards the spend for my next offer. But like you and someone else mentioned I’ll continue to buy what I like availability perminiting.

Thank you everyone for the kind words and advise <3

I think visiting monthly… I actually remember there was a point where I was starting to get frustrated right before my first qb offer and I told myself I wasn’t gonna shop… when I did come my SA was like where have you been I didn’t see you in the last two months!

I think exactly the next month I got it

Hi everyone. I wanted to know when did everyone get there first QB. I’m quite new to the Hermes game. I’ve been shopping for about 3 months and have a 1:1 ratio. How long does it usually take for a first QB offer? My home store is Beverly Hills.

Spend, frequency of visit, bag requested, personality, and competition will all be a factor in this. At 1:1 at BH you’re probably currently looking at years (read: potentially never). Spend closer to 3:1 and you’re probably looking at 6 months to a year for a normal mid-range quota bag (B30/K28).

Hello. Like people have said in this thread, results may vary.
It is so important to establish a good, mutually respectful, relationship with your SA and purchase in different categories.

For me, it only took 3 months to get my QB. My spend was only about 0.70:1.

@bagnn1 I agree with @acrowcounted with her helpful info. I also heard that BH is the most competitive boutique in CA and the ratio is usually around 4-5:1.
