I had the leather Walnut. Before I packed & sent this one away, I did look at the care card and it said something like "due to this bag's delicate nature, do not use Coach leather cleaner or leather conditioner".. 
If she's THAT delicate, she's not the bag for me!
I've read not to keep them in their boxes because they can't breathe. Most users here store their bags on shelves in their dustbags, so that's what I do now too!
