Hi all—I’ve been going through a phase with Hermès where I love a lot of their leather products but find them impractical for something I do quite frequently: travel.

The best example of this is the city walker backpack. I think it’s beautiful, but woefully impractical. Multiple zippers, only one pocket (the bag itself) and that’s it.

when I expressed my frustration to my SA she said that I can always design a bag through the horizon program.

does anyone have experience doing this? Was planning to make an appointment next week. I’m well aware this means I’ll be spending $15k-$20k on my bag. I’m fine with it if I can help design the bag of my dreams.

I actually like his Pagani Huayra better than this Bugatti. But he certain does have an eye for designing his cars!

I would love to see pictures of special design items (“commande sur measure”)
Last time I was in Fsh I went to the couir laboratory upstairs and saw one of the artisan working on a fantastic picnic set ordered from a client! Unfortunately I coud’t take a picture....

I suggest you ask your store SA. They have published 2 volumes of recent Speciale Commande items and will continue to add to the set. These books are used to introduce the service to potential clients. I have visited the SC atelier as well and photos are not allowed as it would not be fair to the client whose orders are being crafted.

DH and I went to the boutique to discuss home furnishings at length with a lovely Maison manager. We are at the preliminary stage (our second apt will be fully gutted for about a year), but he and the SA are working on some possibilities including some proposed special command projects to propose to our architect and interior designer. For some home projects, it seems like prices are, of course high, but there is a lot of value in the design, fabrication and material. Also, not special command, but I love the floor lamp and desk lamps with LED rings That are lined in leather or croc.

Hi all-

I recently moved to a new country and therefore had start a relationship with a new SA. I was offered to make a horizon order which the store is doing in May. Does anyone know anything about it? How is it different than a SO if all I want is a customized mini kelly or a vintage style Constance.
