It could also be related to shipping/tariff issues. If it's produced in France, they'd have to get it here, so maybe that's the issue.

But they also do cars, airplanes etc. and these also have to be shipped etc. I assume.

Had a long chat with my Paris SAs with updates regarding Horizon. The price of projects would likely now start at €70-80k for small clutches upwards, (non-exotics). Iconic designs such as Kelly Pouchettes/ Elans are currently not in the available options. Of course they are always interested in unique designs and especially customising jets and yachts. Had a lovely time looking at the Horizon volumes to my heart's content. DH was browsing elsewhere in the store. 😆

This sounds about right. Had a bit of sticker shock when I recently got my estimate for an SLG, and now wondering if I should go ahead with it...

Unfortunately, nope. Wasn't anything based off an existing design; my poor SA had to brush up on his sketching skills as I described what I wanted

I am wondering if I should look at changing the leather and having some modifications done, though.

I can't imagine what SLG would warrant a €70k estimate. Wow. Unless it's a Croc/ Lizard estimate.
