I see. Thanks for the response, hope it all works out well.

This has been such a journey of discovery! So now we were told that Paris denied our custom order request to create a 9-foot table of our own. We were pretty surprised! They however are allowing us to select from their existing inventory of 9-foot tables, either in blue or rouge H. This is a progress in a way since we were advised before that US market was restricted to their 8-foot tables only which seems also bizarre. Since we wanted a table in etoupe color, blue and rouge H are very different from our original plan, but we are open to consider. Our SA said a blue table is currently on display at their Madison boutique. We are asking if rouge H table is on display somewhere. For the price of the item, we are willing to fly almost anywhere in the world to see it in person before committing to purchase. Hope we can look at them both before we make a final decision. Fingers crossed!

Typical Horizon type response! Ah well. I do hope you find the Rouge H one to your liking. Thanks for the update!

On a recent visit to Hermes Maison Ginza, I went as usual to look at the Horizon section located in the Home department.

The SA there kindly let me share a photo of a recent arrival. The new version of the jukebox, the prototype we first saw during our visit to the ateliers. She offered to play it for me but I declined as a customer had expressed strong interest and it might go to him soon. It holds 10 records and one can of course load it to play part of a personal collection.
Some extra information here...

I also got to see the inlaid box containing examples of the various embellishments (beading, embroidery and inlaid leather) one can add to a Horizon design eg KP/ KC and a lovely time was spent discussing the items DH and I have completed, as well as those featured in the four Volumes of projects.

Also, the Hermes rickshaw on display at the Four Seasons Kyoto is an early Horizon project and one my Paris SA is proud to be associated with.

Few more Horizons as seen on various resellers:

I don't think the last two are Horizon pieces. The first one with the BdP box is a limited edtion made around 2010's in collaboration with Lemarié Paris. It was sold together with a Kelly Cut in the same design as part of a set.

And the second one was part of a seasonal collection which appeared around the same time as those Birkins painted on the outlines. I remember seeing that Kelly in a re-see pic.

We'll keep it until we are sure it's not. It's so stunning, and that is for sure.
Totally agree on the beauty and it does not harm us to keep it one way or the other.

There were similar feathery B and K’s in the earlier volumes of the bespoke objects books. I don’t remember to inspect them for the HSS as I was more in awe with the different techniques that they could use on the bags. And in general, those photos don’t zoom in onto the stamp.

But the very recent years Horizon bags should have the HSS.

I would love to hear that story! The hotel actually posted it about it on their instagram today. I did see the rickshaw in the lobby when I visited for dinner, but I didn’t realize it was a Horizon piece even though I kept staring at it.
