Had a long chat with my Paris SAs with updates regarding Horizon. The price of projects would likely now start at €70-80k for small clutches upwards, (non-exotics). Iconic designs such as Kelly Pouchettes/ Elans are currently not in the available options. Of course they are always interested in unique designs and especially customising jets and yachts. Had a lovely time looking at the Horizon volumes to my heart's content. DH was browsing elsewhere in the store. 😆
that's an extraordinary price hike!! very glad my ostrich project was completed in 2024 before this change. curiously, the final price I paid was less than the originally quoted amount at the deposit stage (although still v expensive) despite additional modifications requiring more artisanal know-how. to this day, I think they had generated an incorrect SKU but I'm not complaining
anyway, I was always under the impression that they generally don't accept iconic designs for Horizon. However, one of the SAs was telling me last week that his client had placed a Horizon order for a mini Kelly in Volynka. I wonder if this means I'm able to order my UHG, a B40 in smooth barenia with brushed hw via this route
These are the most recent quotes given to his clients via my SA so... we are both shocked. DH's and mine were certainly not that level. The KP and KE designs were offered as Horizon options during events held at certain locations across the world for a short few seasons. These are the embroidered, beaded pieces which have now been delivered and are featured in the books.
I would be really curious regarding the quote for that Mini Kelly in Volynka. The term "sticker shock" wouldn't even begin to cover my reaction. 😉

When DH first started with our FSH SA, she told us Horizon was for non iconic but could be almost anything. She showed us some pics, and we told her that no, not for us lol
One of my dream bags (that will never materialize) a JPG runway bag was a rouge H, stingray Kelly pochette
