Hi, that would be lambskin![]()
YAY! And it would be the same price as the caviar? Cos when I bought it, the SA told it me was calfskin (she used e word calfskin, not caviar)!?![]()
The Y01480 code usually stands for lambskin (with silver hardware). But maybe they have changed it recently, I'm not sure. Lambskin feels and looks very soft, calfskin looks/feels very smooth and also kinda soft and caviar feels/looks pebbled (pebbled calfskin).
Thanks for your help. I guess it should be lambskin then. At least I hope it is! Lambskin is usually more expensive than the caviar/calf ones right?
I've only seen items made in Italy or France. It used to be that the classics were mostly made in France and seasonal bags were made in Italy, or at least that is what I notice from my own personal experience. Now I have seen seasonal bags made in France and flaps made in Italy. I'm not sure how they determine what will be made where.
Lambskin flaps are now the same price as the caviar. There used to be price variance with lambskin being a tad more expensive.
