Made in Italy vs Made in France vs Made in Spain

I don't think you can lump them into specific bags being made in a specific country. I honestly feel it is more random than anything else. We are all just speculating here, nothing more.

Here is my list of Chanels and country of origin:

Reissue quilted 2.55 black with silver H/W: France
2.55-2005 black and grey quilted phone bags: France
Quilted long black wallet with burgundy lining: France
Quilted black credit card holder: France
Quited balck cell phone case: France
Cambon white messenger: Italy
Cambon pink cell phone case: France

My cambon Reporter says Italy ... bought it a year & a half ago & it is the original size. I noticed that when I first saw the bag & was surprised they were made in Italy...

This may be an old question, but is there a difference in authenticity if a Chanel handbag was made in France or Italy? I notice they are made in Italy most of the time. I was looking at a multi-reporter cambon bag on Ebay but it had "made in france" in it... Any thoughts? Thank you..-Elaine

I have a Cambon Flap Tote that was also made in France. I bought it directly from the department store

some particular styles are made in italy, and other are made in france. from my observation i think bags that are made in italy are usually the one season only type special bags.

If it makes you feel better I am looking at my Multipocket Cambon Reporter bag right now and it says Made in Italy and I bought it at Saks Fifth in NY.

So that tells you a lot.

I am going to double check but I think I have a bag and some accessories that are made in PARIS...and all of my stuff was purchased at Chanel Boutiques, Neimans,Bloomies, Nordies and Saks

Regarding the Grand shopping tote, or any other CHANEL, I was told that Chanel is made in France or Italy? If i could choose between those two. Which one would be better? made in france or italy????? Thanks
