Michael Kors Macy's Rant (Online Order Gone Wrong)

I don't think they're living up to their reputation any longer.
I've sent out multiple emails to various addresses they have listed online about my poor online shopping experience. They also have a couple corporate addresses that I will be sending letters to. At this point, maybe I'll just have to save up more and pay full price for the designer bags at the boutiques. I'm not sure that the discount is worth the trouble.

For some of the bags, Nordstrom's will price match so you can go through them. I know they don't carry some of the styles that Macy's does but for the more popular styles, Nordie's usually has them in stock. This is what I usually do if I can because the customer service is SO much better than Macy's/Bloomie's.

Well, ladies, I just tracked my replacement on UPS and it says my delivery is scheduled for tomorrow by 10:30am! Fingers crossed I'll have a new, perfect bag tomorrow! Unless it comes earlier in the morning, I'll already be gone to school. But I'll be sure to keep everyone updated.
 
Totally unacceptable, I would be furious & to find a lighter in the bag that woulda made my blood boil. I truly hope your replacement is perfect!!! This really makes me scared for my Vday gift from Hubby, we went to Macys Saturday & I pointed the bag out to Hubby & he bought it but told me I don't get it till Vday. He wouldn't let me look it over or anything. Ugh!!!

location and your order has shipped today and your package was reviewed
before shipping. They assured me that you will be receiving the
replacement in the original Kors plastic from the factory.

So they'll price match if you're ordering online?

Yeah, I do it all the time...just go to their online chat, tell them what you want, and send them a link to the retailer who has the item for less...they have always price matched for me. They can take your payment and process the order through the chat :smile1:.
 
Just to update:
Firstly, Happy Valentine's Day!
I did receive my new bag this morning! I'm impressed that they got it out to me so quickly. I didn't have time to open it before I left out so I was wondering what surprises might be waiting for me in there...
As promised, it was in the original MK packaging, so all of the hardware and the handles were wrapped up, unlike the first bag. It's perfect! No scratches, weird spots, or lighters :rolleyes: and it did come with the dust bag.

So here are my Hamilton babies & some accessories. I should have moved the dud from the background. I suppose I'll get around to taking it back to Macy's this weekend.

I hope that if any of you receive a bag that isn't up to par from any retailer, that you complain immediately and get a new one if possible. Maybe it will motivate them to get it right the first time! :D
