LV Sunglasses. Worth it?

Not sure if they do, but if LV can replace the lenses when they need to be replaced, then they would be worth it. I don't own any LV sunglasses, but I am the kind of person that can't see outside without my sunglasses so I will pay any price!

My SA told me that LV manufactures their own sunnies within the company to their own high standards. Most other high end brands just farm out the work to the 2 top luxury sunnies manufacturers (one of which is Luxxotica (sp?)). So yes, LV sunnies are excellent quality and are in a class of their own!

I have 2 pairs myself and they are the best fitting, comfy & chic sunnies I've ever owned. I'm prolly going to invest in a 3rd pair soon.

Good to know before I shell out the $530 :sweatdrop:

Thanks

Love them. They are all I wear. I believe Zeiss makes the lenses. You can't get any better than that. Oh, and the acetate frames are handmade. The best glasses you can buy.

I have a pair -- Soupcon GM with landscape lenses and Eastern bridge. I adore my sunnies because I love the landscape lenses -- definitely high quality -- and it's hard for me to get sunnies to fit my face, but with the eastern bridge, the LVs fit perfectly. I've had mine for over a year and they still look great.

although i do not own a pair of LV sunglasses, I have dolce & gabbana, Versace, Chanel & Burberry(my:heart:'s)i like to splurge on a pair of sunglasses because its like an essential piece of my wardrobe in the spring/summer/fall months, so i think its nice to always have atleast one pair of designer sunglasses. Soooo i think that its worth it if you really want them! :D

i have lvs, chanel, raybans, and a few others. the lvs are FAR superior to all of the others. the lenses are amazing and the glasses fit like they are made for me. they are comfy, i don't squint, i just absolutely love them. yes, they are expensive but worth the $ if you wear them all the time and need quality glasses. gl!

I was wondering the same thing! I love high end sunnies and a few years ago I almost bought a Coach pair-(plus my health insurance would've covered it, too).
However, I go through sunglasses - about a pair every two or three months - plus I need a backup pair. My eyes are very light blue and any glare kills me!! I can't even walk outside without them unless it's night or extremely cloudy with no glare!!
My sunglasses are always on top of my head or hooked onto my shirt. Constantly scratched, dropped, misplaced, etc.:D

I have never owned a pair but I have tried them on and all though they look really good I just don't personally think they are worth the $$$. I would rather spend the money on a bag. I am more into bags then sunnies though, I am fine with a pair of oakley or coach cuz if something happens to them I'm not gonna have a heart attack lol

I'm dying to own a pair myself.. have my eye on Obsession (the name suits huh? :P) but I'd prob cry if anything happens to them! I have some that are my go-to, throw-around pairs so I'm generally quite good with my nicer sunnies :p but sh!t happens!! :amazed:

I think the only pair of sun glasses that are ever worth the high price would be the LV millionare.

Then again..those are a lot more expensive but they look fantastic! Wish I owned a pair. If you're going to spend 500 on a pair of sunglasses you might as well buy a bag instead. Plastic is plastic. People will spot a fantastic bag before they ever notice a 500.00 pair of sunglasses.
