LV Side Trunk?

Want to preface and say I don't own either.
However, I think this style is very beautiful. If given the choice and room in my closet, I prefer leather gold. I wouldn't have to worry about vachetta, and this embossed leather looks really unique and makes the bag more formal.

My choice is obvious right? 
To me it’s very spacious and can be used as an everyday bag. The leather piece is less common , monogram can easily get from the store , so not so special in my opinion

I have the mono side trunk and love it. It is equally as special as the leather imo, and is classic. I don't care about what's more widely available...there could be 1k that haven't been purchased and I'd choose the mono again. I think we tend to get a bit caught up in exclusivity.
Both are pretty, but I'd personally opt for canvas
I would go with mono as it is really in line with the brand and their famous trunks
Agree. Do you use it as your everyday bag? I’m trying so hard to carry smaller bags but I can’t seem to do it!
I like the mono but it’s virtually guaranteed to crack with the way it’s designed. My CA won’t even sell me one.
Well to continue on the LV trunk idea: I think for ease of use, and easier maintenance. The Valisette Couple BB might be something you will be interested in.
I just purchased it a week ago- won't be an everyday bag because I need a bigger tote for work
