    I have this Side Trunk bag in Monogram canvas. It has the treated leather. Yes, there are still monogram canvas bags that continue to be made with the naked vachetta leather, as you mention here, including the speedy, and others. However some of the more expensive or limited monogram bags have the treated leather.

    :blush::giggle:Thank you! can I check if you are using bag insert for your purse? Samorga has the insert for side trunk , I dont know if there is ned to get one as the leather version is much softer than canvas, to keep the shape esp the base.

    For mine,the black color does not seem to have shimmers.

    I don’t think it’s shimmer , it’s smooth soft leather with a bit of glossy on it. The colour is definitely not as dark as the brown on LV website, it’s like my photo’s

    I don’t use insert, the base doesn’t sag with my things inside because I don’t have much things inside. I think the bag won’t look nice if it’s stiff, maybe you try without insert first and see whether you like the look
