So... my purchase from Japan through eBay has been sitting in New York (I'm assuming customs) for 4 days now. I have purchased before (twice) and it didn't lingered this long at the Customs office. Is this normal? :huh:

A girl just wants her bag already, ya know? Lol. :girlsigh:

Depending on where your final destination for the package is and if it was through DHL or EMS. I've been waiting just over a month.

It's via EMS coming to Maryland. I've had purchases before that didn't take this long. But I checked the tracking info today and it says it's in the local post office now. Hopefully, I get it today or tomorrow. ^_^

I'm also crossing my fingers yours will come through soon.

Japan mail is impressive. I also received a purse bubble wrapped inside a large dark yellow envelope (super sturdy envelope) and no damage (the item itself was already in very good condition) and it was quite fast. However...the custom fees :'( not so impressive

UPDATE: My package got delivered today. EMS but packaged this time in a box. Seller is all_japan_brand_shop .

Thank god I didn't have to fork out for customs fees.

I have purchased from Ilovekawaii and they were the only ones i have had to pay customs on so far. The bag was 147$ and the customs came out to $45 canadian. it was a nice bag so i didn't mind and i got a great deal overall. The bag came in a huge cardboard box with bubble wrap and a leather cleaning cloth. I have also purchased twice from hellovintage and was no dissapointed! However they sent everything in a plastic bag lol

hmmm I was starting to think that canadians always had to pay custom...who was the seller with whom you didn't pay any custom? I might check them out :)

ohh nice, the next bag I want is a petit Noé too :D in yellow. I'm planing on getting on a the end of the months, however so far I bought two bags and I had to pay customs everytime :(
