Hello!!
okay so I read this thread, along others about japanese sellers. At first I wanted a pre-loved petit Noé in yellow, however I ended up buying a speedy 30 in monogramme print. The seller was in of the posts here I believe (some poster who had good experience recommand the sellers the have already bought from) and I have actually received the bag yesterday. I still posted on the authentification thread just in case. In all, the bag smells a little musty and is of course dirty but in similar if not better confition than in the pictures showed (http://jpegbay.com/gallery/005912608-20.html) for an item that is almost 30 it's quite fare. I will try to clean it (I'm going to binge watch video about that tonight to see who gets the best results and what they used for that) and come back with pictures :)

My question is has anyone here ever been to Japan/or know people who have, because I have and have seen pre loved goods being sold in small malls and all but I was not really there to buy anything so I don't recall even checking the prices there, but do you know if it's similar with what we can find on ebay (tho I noticed that with bidding we get fairly better prices)
thanks!

While back I saw Youtube video where one woman stated that she was so used to seeing Ebay prices that what she saw over there wasn't much of a discount. But if you do find limited or hard to come by editions it would still be worth it. I think it really depends on the stores you go to and what you are looking for but doubt it would be as cheap as Ebay. I'm going in two weeks, so I'll check out for sure.

Nice! You're lucky, I wish I could go back :') also, I wonder if the prices differ form city to city. The mall I saw was while in I was staying I Osaka, but I wonder if it's more expensive in Tokyo. Anyway, keep us posted on your trip and enjoy :D

Hello!

I lived in Japan for four years. Yes, there are lots of stores there that sell pre-loved luxury bags. I used to check them out, prices are reasonable. The bags are in great shape too. In those stores, the items are all legit. It is illegal to sell counterfeit and they take it seriously. Plus, most Japanese are embarrassed to use fake items.

I'm kicking myself for not buying as much bags as I can while I was there. Lol. But at that time, I was more into porcelain.

Hello!

Has anybody here purchased from the eBay shop IloveKawaii-shop? I'm badly crushing on one of their item and thisclose to pulling the trigger and wanted to hear from feedback. I've read the negative feedbacks on their eBay profile and the positive ones too.

The kicker is I've lived in Japan for four years and we recently just moved back stateside. On all those years there, I've seen lots of pre-loved LV bags and have never thought of buying any vintage ones. The stores there only sell legit items. It's illegal to sell fakes and not to mention highly frowned upon. Their honor system there is amazing.

With that said, I've read all about the Japanese super fakes and it's got me having second thoughts.

Have you purchased anything from I love Kawaii yet? I haven't purchased from them, personally, but I know someone who has. My friend was extremely disappointed in the packaging/shipping. I love kawaii ships in a big white paper envelope. There was nothing to protect her bag from damage. So I would inquire about the packaging.

Hi there!

Yes, I bought a bag from them. It was packaged in a big EMS envelope. The bag was wrapped in bubble wrap. I've purchased from two Japanese sellers so far and both had been shipped that way. I've been to Japanese post offices while I lived there, it seems that this is normal packaging for them. Thankfully my bag is okay, it wasn't wet or damaged. But the Japanese postal service are very careful. If there would be damage, it would be during transit.

I'm so glad you had a good experience with that seller. I've only received my purchases through EMS in cardboard boxes, so I was unaware that this was normal.

I've purchased from ilovekawaii about three times and all my items were in bubble wrap and then placed in a large envelope. They all came undamaged. Nothing was bent out of shape. Everything arrived in a week or less. And the prices for the quality of items I got were unbeatable. I've purchased from 2 other Japanese sellers too and Ilovekawaii to me was the better pricepoint.
