I had an major issue with my Emilie, the underside of the flip was bubbling up and I only received it for Christmas. However after many attempts to exchange or have any sa review the issues. Another lovely sa took one look and said nope, it should not be like that at all. And exchanged it for me. It took so many tries to get someone to say yeah this is an issue. /:

I could not find any thread in this regard ,but I have heard of the deteriorating quality of LV bags .I would like to know what issue you have/had ,which bag ,and where it's made .Maybe we can be aware of when we get that particular bag .Also how long after using the fault was noticed .

If you use the search function, there are 193 threads with the word quality and you can narrow it by typing the style name as well.

My brand new PM mono has excess/long thread coming from between stitching on the side. The glazing is rough and doesn't look very neat. But since this is my second PM (1st one had glazing issues), I've decided to enjoy it and if/when there are any issues, I will take it to LV for repair. I am not bothered by slight imperfections anymore.

Redone noé uneven and crooked stitching. My Josephine wallet is falling apart, literally. Told me it was defective but couldn't replace it because they didn't have the same color any longer. It's a year and a half old and the canvas is beginning to shred on the corners. I only keep 4 cards in it, 5 bills at max and NO change. The manager said the "wear was normal for Josephine wallets because of the new canvas" they now use. Even he admitted it is crappy and will not last the years.

I thought I read on here both. But not sure. :confused1:
I was told by the quality accessor at the LV store that with the PM glazing where the fold of the flap is, the action of just opening, closing flexing creates stress in those areas. Glazing wont last forever. So it is inevitable those parts will wear faster than other parts of the bag. But it is fixable and not terminal. So if it was me just enjoy it use the hell out of it.

Then he should exchange for a different color or return for store credit!

They offered but it's inevitable it would have happened to the other one as well. I didn't want to give up the color I had either. I'm very upset to say the least.
Can't be mad at them if they offered to exchange your item for a store credit. That means you would have used your wallet for free for 18 months. That's good customer service in my opinion. If I were you, I would have definitely accepted the store credit.

This thread, coupled with the previous one asking for people's thoughts on fakes (another 20% of forum threads), did indicate obvious trouble finding information here.

Only offered to help.
Don't take simple questions and turn it to something you assume .I have been in this forum for quite a while though I was not active for sometime .Mostly was in Hermes forum .Did not encounter such rudeness there .
