ohh, the mat line was amazing. it's too bad they're discontinued now.

that sucks about discovering the layering prices. I would be pissed too, I wonder why LV didn't remove them.

I guess I'm going to have to start paying prices along the lines of this year's continent prices. For some reason HI prices are a bit lower than elux and prices in the continental US, at least where LV is concerned. Sucks that prices are going up again, soon a pochette will be $1000

pochette is about $450 NZ dollars, its so cute, but i dont think prices have gone up yet over here anyway... will let you guys know though. ;)

If you go to an actual LV boutique, each piece has a notecard-sized paper with a scan code and price sticker. It is usually tucked into a pocket with the two other ID tags. The SA takes this tag to scan the item and files it away. Every LV boutique I have been to has done this; department store "boutiques" do not have these notecards.

I was fortunate enough to remember the price of my Babylone and Multicolore agenda before LV hiked it up. When I went to the boutique to purchase those items, I noticed a the "layering" of price stickers on that notecard with the new, more expensive price on top. I spoke to my SA and she gave me the former prices for both items. Score!

Look like I won't be able to stop working yet..geesh! Thanks LV! Unfortunately, this price hike is not going to hinder me in the least. It will just take me more time to get one now.

let's be honest girls- if you're spending $1200 on a bag, what difference does $30 make? it's miniscule when compared to the price- and the joy you'll get from carrying it!:amuse:

$1170 to $1300 is a lot. $100.75 was tax alone. Nevertheless.... I was still happy about my purchase (any LV purchase makes me happy:D and I'll always love my pet louie. I'll take pictures soon and post them.

 wowzahz! You really scored. good for you.

I was told yesterday by the SA at LV that the prices are going up on Wednesday, 29 Feb. She said that the price increase varies depending on the style. And get this, the price will increase between 10-15%. A bit much, don't you think?
