no that is naked, untreated vachetta. I just never take her out in the rain and am careful not to use lotion or antibac when i am going to grab the handles. the rest is just aging left to its own devices
omgoodness, everyone's patina is sooo prettyyy! mine is still reeeally new and i cant wait until it starts becoming a honey tone naturally. with texas weather always being crazy, i hope it's quick. it's so light right now that dirt can easily be visible if im not careful. every evening (been using her everyday) i check the handles to make sure there are no stains/marks. been washig my hands more often and making sure i dont have any new lotion application on my hands before i handle my bag to put on my arm..
really?! that's great! might as well do that!
i'm just too scared not to put leather protector atleast, but looking at your fab purse, I think I should leave them alone although I try not to use lotion or any gel/creams on my hand before I use my bags. Thanks! 
i'm going to post my new-to-me Multicolor Speedy. i bought it because the patina was so even. usually when i look at pre-loved Speedies on-line the handles are too dark compared to the rest of the vanchetta on the bag. as soon as i saw this one i knew i had to have it.
