Thank you do much for your responses. Based on all what has been said in this thread I think I might switch to the online store.

I appreciate the benefits of such policy however in my case it brought a little bit of dissapointment as I can use my credit within 12 months but only in Australia. I will be moving overseas next month. My personal curcumstances and their policy put me in a little but unfair position.

I agree it is unfair - I think they do need to change the policy and I feel sorry for your circumstances. I understand the reason why you can only use the credit in Australia though as that is due to the currency and tax (GST) we do pay more in Australia than other countries sad to say. Would get tricky converting the amount to another country. I hope you can find something you love before you leave.

Hi hi! I made a purchase by calling LV but arranged for them to send the item to me via post. They are very polite and efficient, and if you need the item urgently, you can always let them know. The purchase includes complimentary standard shipping (3-5 business days) or expedited shipping (for metropolitan postal codes) on request. And one of the plus point about shopping online, like what Grace1982 mentioned, is that purchases can be returned for a full refund or exchanged at the LV stores, while purchases in the stores can only be refunded for a credit note. At least that was what the lady at LV told me the other day! :) Happy shopping, hope you get what you're eyeing! :)

You can check stock availability for stores on the website now. Find the product online and select 'check for availability', then enter Australia and it will show you what if any stores have that product.

Has anyone had any luck finding a Pochette Metis in-store or online in the last month? The Chadstone store told me that Melbourne CBD occasionally has stock, but I've found the service there genuinely awful, even when it's a quiet time!

Hi, my SA from Collins Street sent me a photo of PM with braided handle last June 26 but I decline. Then I was able to buy the PM in reverse online on July 5 (got cancelled because of my address) and July 6 (successfully). Then just few days ago, I received a call from CS that my bag has arrived (I asked my name to be listed on the waitlist).

Totally agree with you in regards to the service quality between Chadstone and Melbourne Collins Street - a lot different and I prefer Chadstone.

I went into the Collins St LV store on Tuesday and there was only ONE DE canvas bag on display. I enquired about the PA the mini pochettes and the multi pochette ....... No stock, not even the Christmas editions!! The store was deserted!
