Happy Friday Drtootr! No I haven’t been able to get anything. I missed the initial boat in January and have been on the dock waiting ever since 😂 and you are right, it’s the nano speedy I’m after in black but it doesn’t look like there is going to be a restock of it. I have seen white NS many times but no black. When I called CS they said black was only made in a much lesser quantity hence the rarity. I was thinking if this is the final restock maybe I should consider the white NS…….. I’m just worried abt colour transfer and maintenance of the vachetta strap so thought black would be an easier option. White obviously looks gorgeous though. Can I ask how you’re finding your white speedy? It is hard maintain? Did you spray your vachetta handles? I have a speedy 20 mono and even though I’m extra carefree there are minor stains on it (not obvious but still I can see), so with the white canvas and vachetta will be double whammy for me hahaha
I enjoy seeing your action pics of the murakami. They are such gorgeous bags and bring such a ray of sunshine. And you getting the fluffy bag charm is a bonus. Great you managed to get it. Fingers crossed it’s ready when you come so you can collect it and rock it on your bags.

@Bumbles and so interesting to learn from you that the black is more rare, I had no idea. So I've got the OG white MC Speedy 30 which I've used for decades and of course my new Speedy 25. With the 30 I was young and carefree lol and did not baby this bag at all, I mean my cousins would sometimes pick me up from my job in the city (last minute plans) to take me surfing after, so that bag was even at the beach, and it held up pretty well considering my reckless youth ways lol
Now my hopefully more mature, wiser and sensible self lol is treating my Speedy 25 MC with the respect it deserves and although I am more cautious when I wear her say versus my speedy 25 cherry blossom or my black TP MC, I still feel like the white MC canvas is overall pretty durable in general. Especially if I compare it to my other white bags from say Chanel, for example. I wouldn't say I find it hard to maintain so far and I have never treated any of my LV vachetta ever. In saying that I might look into doing this going forward as
@Mapoon has very kindly given me some recommendations to try. So maybe I'll try a strap first, to test it out for myself and go from there. Of course LV always says not to touch the vachetta, but I have learned in these forums that a lot of people in here do, so that's whats made me curious to finally try it for myself.
So my long answer short is, I would go for the white if you can't get the black, no doubt hun!
The whole long wait for the fluffy charm is a bit yikes to me and a tad off putting! But I figured it's my only shot to grab one from LV itself, because superfakes kinda scare me too as
@sleepydoc. mentioned in here and hope my risk comes out ok and I can bring it back with me, I'll keep you posted on how I go.
