Actually, tonight I just got a notification that the donut 🍩 charm is back in stock 🤣 so I guess it functions.

Or bite the bullet and gave one of the canvas ones with the key pouch which is versatile enough to pair with other bags or the black canvas strap? Or check in the resale market.

So my replacement strap is $535 CAD - better than the $710 CAD for the mono strap but it's more the 40% increase I cannot stomach. Problem is the replacement is a bit short for a cross body at 37' / 94cm so I would need extenders. What do you guys think - have you lengthened a strap this way? I may just be better off just trying the bagandsense chain strap as I kind of like that look anyway (at least on @DrTootr it looks fab)

Sadly, everything is increasing except my salary I guess...but since the length doesnt work for you, dont get it and dont get the extenders... You are better off either getting an off market canvas strap or strap from bagandsense / authentic LV strap or canvas strap brand new or from resale market...there are many options out there... Good luck in your decision..

I know you'll find the perfect one @sleepydoc. and can't wait to see what you end up with. Why I love my LV gold pochette coussin chain strap in particular, is because it's a strap with kind of an inbuilt extender if you will. Originally the selling point was being able to take the smaller section of the chain off and rock it as a bracelet, which is fun, but I find this bracelet bit actually helps make this particular strap the perfect length for me. I am close to 5'9" and hearing from you about this 40% increase, it's just oh man 😞

I wondered how long your Coussin strap was because you do look quite tall but the length is perfect on you!

So I wanted to jump back on and update everyone to a little bit of serendipity 😁 As I mentioned my husband was traveling and checked Heathrow LV for my mono strap and sadly it was the same 40% increase ~ $750 CAD. Well this morning he called me from the airport mall in Turkey and he was in the LV store. The mono strap was in stock and with conversion to CAD appeared to be the old price! Plus no tax --- ended up snagging it for me for ~ $550 CAD !!!
Happy early Mother's Day 🎁 to me! SO lucky ☘️
