I used to work for Big W and yes woolies is 5% which is really next to nothing. The amount of employees shouldnt make a difference, there are plenty of companies with heaps of employees that get a better discount. Also cutomers can get that discount too with varous promotions, like the new card there was a promotion of save 5% if you use the card. So it ends up being not a special discount for employees only.
They also give a spare card as well if you ask for it.

elizabeth st in the city.
they have burberry, dior, coach and gucci too.
they have their own alcoves.

beyond that they can use their own shopping bags which is a big thing in djs.
it is store policy concessions MUST use david jones bags so the fact they are able to use their own bags is very lucky.

chanel sunglasses give a chanel bag and its very special.

david jones is 5% off electrical (home entertainment) and food and 10% off everything else.
then you get an additional 20% off for black clothes you can wear to work.

but concession discount cards have more exclusions.

my friend works there.

Nope, it was a career seminar organized by the Uni career dept..so many ppl turned up n they put the information in their lv paper bag which i managed to get one! Haha . Too bad I can't qualify as I'm not Aussie but it sure is interesting that they do offer graduate programs to my Uni. Dunno abt the others thou.

there's handbags and cosmetics (incl. the concierge) down one end and the opposite end has perfume and designer brands including lv.
walk a full circle around the handbag level.

call the switch and ask.
