LV in Australia

I was reading about price increases in the US etc. from feb 17/18, does anyone know if this applies to Australia too? The SA I talked to in Dec said she didn't think prices would increase for at least six months :shrugs:

Oh and Crackberry, I'm no expert, but from what I've learnt from the forum, Paris is the 'cheapest' to buy LV, but given our exchange rate... perhaps consider Singapore? We have a great exchange and their prices weren't too bad, I saved over $100 buying there as opposed to Australia :smile1:

thanks!

Sorry for the extremely late reply!! It fits abt 9 plastic cards.. Cc, drivers license, etc there's a flap at the front that can hold a card as well! It's more than enough for id, bankcard or 2 plus notes and some change, which is all I need when carrying a clutch! There was a reveal very recently that she fitted a canon ixus 100is in there too!
HTH! :)

thank you so much, i also want it for when i use a clutch or small bag and dont want to take my wallet

does anyone shop in sydney?

can you recommend an SA in either the city store or bondi junction?
preferably a bondi junction recommendation.

Ask for a sweet SA named Caroline at the Castlereagh city branch. When you walked in just ask for her. Do not bother with the other ones. She is very patient and takes time to tell you more about the products. I had a very bad time with the other SAs who were not interested to give u time to think about it. Won't go into details here. Bought a couple of stuff from her.

Bondi SAs are so-so. not interested in service as i say. skip it.

I bought an Alma PM in Bleu Nuit two weeks ago for $2000
I paid $2100 for my Brentwood in Amarante, but that was about a year ago now.

Am currently trying to decide if I should order an Alma BB in Pomme or not - they are $1370. I love, love, LOVE the pictures I've seen but have not been able to see it in person because the Pomme in Alma BB was completely out of stock in Victoria when I went looking for one :(

i saw 2 young lv girls walking around bondi junction westfield.
i mean really young like early 20s and i was so surprised.
they seemed lovely and i heard them being very polite to workers in david jones
but i was shocked at how young they were.
they must have some amazing resumes as ive heard its incredibly difficult to work in those boutiques.

They could be interns or from graduate program. they do recruitment drives in my Uni b4 but I can't join it as I'm not aussie born . 6 to a year on the ground then they are off to another department and they do go to LV HQ to learn . Too bad.. Cos Im interested to work for them but I'm not Aussie . Actually nothing to envy, jus another sales job anyway.

also i saw in the american threads that saks employees get staff discount.

is it the same at david jones lv?
do david jones staff get staff discount?

DJs gives staff discounts but it's quite measly (like 10% only)
My friend works in corporate office and that's what he told me (although i can confirm actual discount if need be), but not sure if the discount applies to concession stands within DJs
