LV for kids

I would get something used, I also don't believe in spoiling kids. They would enjoy it more if they actually have to work for it, like good grades, behaviour etc.

What a sweet little face she has! She's precious! I say get it! I don't see anything wrong with a three year old having an LV if that's what you choose to do. That's your business what you choose to give her (or not give her).

I agree with Minnie. As long as you keep an eye on it while she's out with it. I bought the same bag for my daughter when she was younger. She was 5 or 6, enjoyed carrying it and learned to take care of it which in our experience has helped her learn to take care of all of the nice things we've bought her since.

It's really something you have to decide for yourself, though. Give thought as to what it will teach your sister and don't concern yourself about the message it may or may not send to others. People will ALWAYS have their opinions about what someone else does. Don't let others define you and what you want for your sister. If you decide against it, that's fine too. But let it be your decision only.

I buy lots of designer stuff for my daughter. And for her 2nd birthday my husband and I bought her a Mini Sac HL. I think it's cute. She carries it around everywhere and before we leave the house she will bring it to the mirror and look at herself. I love it. Here's a picture I took on her birthday as she was going to bed:

I think the size of the bag is perfect for kids. It's like a mini Speedy.

She's beautiful, Michelle! She looks so cute with her little LV! What a doll!

I think 3 might be a bit young for her to appreciate it, but if you have money to burn? Might as well. BTW your little sis is ADORABLE! And I agree with the person who suggested you buy her a used mono hl with some patina already. Much less stress.;) V

 That is so adorable!!! Makes me want to get one for my daughter. Your husband sound so cool...My husband would never, in a million years go for that. ( I might buy one and hide it. We'll pull it out whenever he goes to get a haircut.:D )

BTW, she's beautiful!;)

Sina, it is a lot of money... But you could get it anyway, let her play with it when she's with you (take lots of fun pics together, of course:amuse: ), keep it and give it to her later. When she's much older, she'll probably cherish the time spent with you and the cute pictures just as much at the bag itself.

Shes' so pretty, BTW!

So adorable!

I guess I am in the minority but I think she looks freaking adorable. If I had a daughter that age..she would totally be rocking a mini HL sac! I see teeny tiny Juicy bags that are adorable as well.
I saw go for it!
I am sure many people dont believe in adults carrying $1000 bags. You have to do what makes you happy!

I don't remember when I was three ... but when I was around five, I got a purse that I loved. I would take it everywhere with me. I took care of it because I it was precious. So if your sister loves handbags as much as you say she does, she'll love the LV and take care of it ... but maybe when she's a bit older, if not now....

I think it'd be cute especially if you had a Speedy 25 but I don't believe in children having expensive things like that. A cute $25 Polo or Von Dutch Tshirt, maybe, but not an LV. Sorry ... that would just be too pretentious like the others said. I see babies with cute Gucci shoes I think 'that's cute but the baby doesn't even know the difference, why go overboard?' - it's more for the adults to show off, IMHO.

In the end it is of course your choice and it depends on where you live... You did ask us our opinion and I think it would look very pretentious...
It's your choice though!

i gotta agree w/the majority. 3 is too young for anything expensive (i.e. LV purse) May be when she's at least a teenager. Although the pix of Michelle's daughter & the purse is so cute.
