Spending is all relative to what you make. People who are very impoverished would never think about buying any kind of purse for there child. A $350 purse for a person making $1,000,000 a year is the same as buying a $3.50 purse if your making $10,000 a year.

it's not quite the same. the 350$ for the 1 million person is more disposable than the 3,50$ to the ten thousand person since the percentage of disposable income increases with higher income. I mean someone with less than 1000$ per month would rather think about spending 3,50$ than someone with ~100.000$ would think about some "ridiculous" hundreds - just some thoughts of an economics student

well as to the topic: it depends on the area you live in. don't forget LV might attract criminals, like "oh that kid seems to have rich parents, let's kidnap it" or "just rob her, she can't defend herself anyway"- yeah stupid to think of that just because of a bag, but you never know how weird some people think...

otherwise it can be a nice idea, if she turns out to be someone that appreciates quality stuff that lasts, but she could also grow up to someone that just goes with trends. in this case an LV would be of no use...

Comparing between a Hello Kitty purse and a mini HAC SL, I think your 3 year old will prefer the Hello Kitty purse more than the LV. Look at the Hello Kitty, it's so cute with the cutie, cutie, cutie Kitty face. Lol...your 3-year-old will look even more cuter!!:amuse:

Kids at that age..you should give them the cute stuff cos' once they grow up like us, they won't be daring enough to dress up like a Barbie Doll. At this age...20s & above, they will then start appreciating designer goods cos' they've grown up becoming sophisticated ladies.

Kids with LV to me is nothing shocking. I've seen girls here in Tokyo, in their school uniforms carrying Hermes plumes & birkins.
