You could always try, then if it doesn't work, get them replaced. Plus it's always nice to have one broken in bag you can just knock around and not worry!

I need new handles on an alma and would like to just send it in and get it over with.

Your handles look fine to me. And I actually like them. I would leave them alone.

Very dark...I think baby wipes will help a little bit.
I'd just get the vachetta replaced...or get another Speedy. My SA quoted about 25% for vachetta related repairs. Didn't Jojo pay close to $150 for her Speedy 25 vachetta to be replaced?

You can get new handles at LV but I love it when LV handles are worn -even really worn. Sure sets it apart from the fakes. I love seeing someone carrying around a really old LV and you know the bags have been around a long time and withstood the test of time Actually I don't like the look of the handles when they are new
