LV Agenda...worth the price compared to others?

I have the monogram MM agenda and LOVE it, however I don't like the LV inserts layout (Week on 2 pages with lines and time) but bc I dont want to waste my money, I'll use it. I buy inserts from other shops like Sessa Vee, Peanuts Planner Co, 8 lotus co, etc. I think I'll customize my inserts better so that its more functional. I think it depends what you need/use your agenda for. I think for students VDS or Gillio might work better for the card slot options, other pockets, esp the back pockets which holds a full piece of paper folded in half. Before investing into LV take a look at other planner options including VDS

I love my PM Agenda ! It's a cute size and I absolutely love the filler paper. I have the one with the painted stacked Louis Vuitton Trunks on it. I love watching people watch me pull it out and use it from my periphery. I wonder if they are wondering what could I possibly be jotting down on that little thing ? Every now and again, I will pull out one of my LV Mini Jules notebooks and write in those while I have my LV PM sitting out on a table... if you think that the PM is small, get a load of the LV Mini Jules They're tiny !!!

Another endorsement for AgendaPM here. I’ve also been using mine everyday since I got it. Have used it as an agenda daily, travel companion with Passport holder in back flap & credit cards in front, and agenda/wallet with zipper inserts. It’s an amazing SLG for anyone who loves organizing:smile:

also love the yearly LV inserts!

Mini Jules are adorable, especially in Viviene mascot, but even my obsession with stationery items won’t be able to make me use minis. HOW is it even possible to write in it??? Your handwriting must be suuuper fine

I know, right ? I have been using 7 sheets of the small 2 X 2 inch Post-it note pads on the first page of each LV Mini Jules, it gives me more space to write when I am out and about, at a meeting, or jotting down a quick note or quote or reminder at a meeting or away from home and don't necessarily want or need to use my LV PM to find the notes page for that month to find the day, week and month to place a quick note. I can grab the LV Mini Jules, jot something down, (on the removable and applied Post-it note pages these days of course) and transfer later if I need to... plus I get to keep my LV Mini Jules pages pristine. When I use up all the Post-it Notes, I can easily take out each sheet of all the Post-it note sheets to transfer to my LV PM or Hermes Vision Agenda or wall calendar, or just scrap, and replace with more sheets of Post-It Notes. I realized it was costing me way too much money to write in my LV Mini Jules. When I started filling each one up with quotes, reminders, etc., I had no real use for them when all the pages were used. The LV Mini Jules painted covers are so nice and it is more economically feasible to keep replacing the Post-it note paper than to keep buying LV Mini Jules. ($3 vs $300) LOL... My handwriting is NOT suuuper fine, It had to evolve to be finer than what it had been. With the LV PM and the LV Mini Jules, I had to adjust the way I write, I've come to understand that with anything in life, if you love it... you'll learn it !

I concur MyBelongs to Louis, I've had a few different types of Agenda/Organizers over the years from other designers and brands, but I really love my LV PM for it's size, style and profile. The filler paper is super awesome. I found that the bigger the Agenda/Organizer, the less organized I was. It's so portable and looks good when I have it on my nightstand, in an office meeting, and/or out and about anywhere in between. I wish LV had a monogram logo pen to match my LV PM, I could use in the pen holder tab on my LV PM, But then it would probably stretch out the opening eventually and the pen would probably slide out, or if there was a way to clip it on or in the pen tab, like the clip would be closer to the middle of the pen. Hmmmm. I think I will check the secondary markets to see if a LV Monogram Pen was ever made.

Hi everyone! Eyeing the agenda PM. Looking for good inserts that feature a place to write addresses, not just calendaring. Ideally cute and unique inserts.

Not really seeing anything I like on Etsy (soooo many, and I don’t want to print them myself) but if you can suggest some sellers in the US (Etsy and others) I would be grateful!

I love my LV agenda GM! It’s a great item you get to use daily. Also, if the rings break, LV can replace them easily.

Tagging onto this thread if that's OK

I received my large ring agenda about 3 weeks ago but the rings are showing a small gap already with barely any use. I know this item is super low in stock always, is it worth bringing into store once they open to ask for a repair?

Does anyone have an up to date experience and/or repair cost for the rings? I'm in the UK but any information gladly received!

Did you buy the preloved vintage? If yes, I would say worth the repair and keep forever. I have a friend who just bought store fresh from my SA and she was sooo disappointed with current quality. BUT she also DID mention that rings felt cheaper. So when/if you do repair.. and they put in the new rings, it may be newer/cheaper quality. FYI.

Honestly I’ve only bought 3 LV’s online brand new. Every piece I own now is pre-loved including my Taiga Medium Agenda. IMO I would go the pre-loved route if you can find one in great shape. My Taiga is in a discontinued color and almost brand new and I paid a fraction of the price on the pre-loved market.

I will say, unless an item is in extreme demand, you’re going to take a couple hundred $ loss on what you paid (esp with retail prices rising) when you go to sell unless you plan on keeping forever.

I got the monogram koala agenda pm back in 2006 and it still looks amazing. It's not too practical (too small for my needs) but I'll never sell it.

Last month I finally acquired the damier ebene desk agenda cover, which I use for my discbound planner, and it immediately became one of my most beloved LV purchases. So, imo, yes worth it.
