I love Hermes leather but find them on the heavy side. It takes a lot of effort for me to use the Evelyne PM 29 in clemence because of the weight. What do you think of the carryall cargo? It’s extremely lightweight. I’d only use 1 strap at a time and remove the monogram tag. The side pockets don’t bother me anymore.

Isn’t it funny how different we all are? I find the evie 29 a perfect lightweight larger bag, and I adore my B’s (30) and my 28K. I still absolutely love H leather the best, the hand and the colors grab me every time, and I know hands down they will stand the test of time better than any other bags I own. I also know the larger bags can get heavy (for me that starts at a 35 size) but all my H leather is forever and rotates often (though not on dog walks except for my evie TPM’s 🤓). I do love the K28 for shopping or traveling when I want a bigger more elegant bag with a lock for security.

All that said, I think LV as planned has stepped up some of their leather game, and I have more small LV bags in leather than I ever imagined. I think the carryall cargo is lovely and it sounds like it has grown on you. Why not give it a try?😀 I bet it would look great on you!! 🖤🤎

I agree and honestly thought I was the only one who found Hermes to be really heavy. And some styles are incredibly difficult to get in and out of. I have multiple Hermes and only one is really easy to carry. The rest sit in the closet 😂

You should rehome those closet sitters!! Just think how many Pharrell Western pieces you could easily buy 🤠!!! I know you will anyway, but I found it hard as well to let my first H piece go. Enabling mode engaged 🤓 I had and loved a Victoria 35 when I was not WFH, it held all my tech and papers etc, it functioned as a quasi briefcase and really adored that bag. But once I transitioned, that beauty went on its way. And no regrets whatsoever. I always knew the B30 would better hit the tote sweet spot, and I carry it open all the time so it’s easy. I can’t wait to see your western pieces - I’m so excited for you!!❤️

I ended up selling the Kelly several years ago because it was too much effort. That being said, I regret selling it😞. I’m just looking for a lightweight bag that’s easy to use. I’m torn between the low key hobo pm and carryall cargo. I may have to purchase both ugh 😑!!!

I know the K is a bit fussy - and sorry you regret letting it go. As prices have skyrocketed, to replace anything is so much more these days. But you will find a lightweight easy to use bag at LV I’m sure - they drop seemingly a zillion bags a year now (just a slight exaggeration 😆). And why not try both and see how they work? I also have been thrilled with the pieces from the men’s collections I buy. Probably half of my LV is considered a men’s bag (though gendering bags bugs me, I like that Pharrell has some women walk in his men’s shows and Rhianna was the queen of the all leather speedy!)

I always say buy what you love and who cares what they call it! Good luck with your search. We are each so unique we need to find exactly what works for us, and we all look great carrying what we love! Let us know what you choose!

Deb, I’m only an inch or so taller and just picked up the new denim Carryall PM. I’m 95% sure I’ll keep it and don’t see it having the downsides you experienced with the Hobo PM. Not sure if you’re interested, but since it’s a somewhat similar style I thought I’d put this out there!

I look on this forum for sizing, mod shots and weight posts all the time. It’s refreshing to see people who like something and also those who don’t. It’s nice to hear both sides of the bag story.

I’m on the list for that dang turquoise p9 but it’s a complete crap shoot if you get one. Then I’ll be trying again for the horse carving speedy in July. Fingers crossed!!!

But I know if I let go of that Kelly I will regret it. It’s a dreamy bag and I feel extra fancy when I carry it, maybe too fancy 😎
I should have bought a Birken but wanted that longer strap at the time. The awesome thing is she can sit and I can enjoy her later when I need her. Hermes is a great investment, even if I don’t use them as often. Plus my mom likes to use it (that’s probably the real reason I keep it).
I thought about the Evelyn tpm because it looks like a nice smaller piece and Hermes has some gorgeous colors 😍

Well if this Pharrell thing doesn’t work out maybe I’ll try a Birken 😂

I went to LV and have decided against the carryall cargo mostly because of the lambskin leather. I also had difficulty snapping the bag shut with a decent amount inside including a water bottle but there was still a good amount of space left.
I’ve decided to go with the low key pm hobo. The photo shows the strap going underneath the bag. I wonder if I’ll have the same issues with it hanging below the bag… I shall see.

I received the Low Key Hobo PM and here's my two cents. I'm 5'0 and it was the perfect size. It wasn't bulky and laid perfectly on my side with all my items in it. But when I adjusted the strap length to where I wanted it, I didn't care for the end of the strap hanging below the bottom of the bag. I also did not like the feel of the leather at all...almost like a vegan leather, and there was an odd smell to it. Hard to describe. The foil stamping on the outside looked so lightly done that I could see that rubbing off in no time, especially with it rubbing on jeans. Back it went! Sorry for the negative review but it just wasn't for me. 😟

IMO, this is slightly softer version of the NeoNoe. I like the slouchy look of NeoNoe when used without any inserts. Sorry, your bag didn’t work out. It does look gorgeous though.

It looks really great on you but I agree about the strap hanging below the bag. That would bother me too. I wonder if it would work for me because I’m 5’5”. I’ll have to see the bag again in person because I found the leather to be luxurious on the mm size. Thanks for your feedback and pictures😊

The vachetta is dark and the dust look is kinda ombre-ish.

How nice that you keep it too because your mom uses it I think that’s wonderful.❤️. And yes, the evie TPM is one of my favorite little bags, I have black and mauve sylvestre and I’m still amazed at how much will fit and the fabulous hand.

I get the older we get the lighter weight bags we like more! I hope the low key hobo is the perfect bag for you - I saw @Emphosix showed a low key bum bag!!! Can’t wait to see.

I am hoping I will get both those Pharrell pieces I’m wishing for, though it will kill my bag budget for the rest of the year 😂
The gorgeous turquoise leather is set to release, I’m on the preorder list for it but am told it works differently than regular release. So I’m over here hoping I get lucky 😊 btw I heard have purple in a 25, just saying 😉

I only saw the horse speedy in the catalog my sa sent and initially it didn’t have a picture. Then a few days later she sent me a pic and I immediately knew I needed it. It was a runway piece and I prayed it would make production!! I will be super lucky to score it for August release. Those pieces are going to be difficult to acquire. I hope I can share them with you all 🥰
